Him and Al Davis have a "inside" relationship.

If i was kiffen id just quit right now.

That Ryan dude is not even a good DC how the hell can he control a whole team?

When DHall was getting those penalties he was explainin himself to Kiffen.....Ryan shoulda told him to stfu theres nothing to explain.

Theres not one coach on that team that has control of the players.

Rob Ryan + Al Davis = worst team in the NFL.

Here's a reasonable question: why would Ryan really want the job? I mean, really, why would he want to step up to the plate?

It's a no win situation for any HC, I don't care if your licking Al's nuts, Al's gonna screw you over eventually.

Yeah, that's a smart move. He'll then lose out on all the money Al will have to pay him after he fires him.

As I understand it, if he quits, he forfeits the pay for the final two years of his contract. If he's fired, he still gets paid...

Oh well its money that he will be guaranteed to make again back in College which is where he will go.

But if he does want the cash then i guess its smart to go ahead and get fired.

even though its embarassing.

For someone who claims to know football and who runs your mouth you sure do say stupid ****.

If he quits he gets zero money. He has no reason to quit. He didn't draft the players, he didn't bring in the Free Agents, and he doesn't want the horrid Defensive Coordinator. Wait it out to get fired and get a settlement. Even though Al **** stain Davis won't pay it out.

I sure liked the boards better when a certain someone was MIA.

Kiffin will get canned, probably wait for the year to be over, and take over some other team. Dude looks like he could become a good head coach that was let go prematurely, similar to the way Shanahan was let go.

The best is I have him on ignore but someone quoted him. I went back to look at his reply to see him call me a liar! :spit:

Ignore doesn't work when people quote him.

Wouldn't it be great if, after a year in the basement, the Chorfs let Herm go and hire Kiffin, and then both Kiffin and Shanahan go on to exact revenge on greasy Al and Raider nation for years and years?

You say that then you want him to quit? Do you think that if he was guaranteed the money he would of quit already? He's collecting paychecks and going to force AL to fire him so that he has to pay the contract out.

If/when Kiffin is fired, how many of you hope that he is offered a coaching position with DEN? Maybe ST? I for one would just LOVE for him to be brought in to DEN.
I know he wont have to look for a new job for long, thats for sure.
He is a very talented coach. I imagine Coach Carrol is already offering him a job back at USC if he wants it too!

It was on the radio. Greg Robinson is on his way out. Kiffen is a shortlist name for the job. This is no way concrete but speculation. It would be cool to have him come apprentice under Shanny but Denver has its own hot shot young coach in Bates.

.

Al likes to hand out $50 Million dollar contracts and over pay people would be my guess. Ryan probably figures he'd be canned as DC anyway so why not secure some more $$ before it happens. Not to mention being fired in Oakland certainly doesn't tarnish a coaches credibility. Ex. Shanny/Gruden.

Oh btw my neighbor who is a life long raider fan and even grew up knowing Fred Biletnikoff as a family friend just dumped his allegiance and became a Bronco fan. Raider nation is dieing.

Ding. That's exactly right. I love that Kiffin isn't just bending over to take it in the caboose from the Crypt Keeper. Just keep stirring the pot and creating a disgruntled atmosphere. Oh, what's that? Javon Walker hasn't even entered the building yet? HA HA HA!
