Seriously, if Jason Campbell can butcher their secondary then we might score 50 this week. Thoughts...

Hmm. Brees always played like garbage against Denver. Maybe he can light up this defense but I remain a bit skeptical.

true, but Brees in San Diego never had anyone like Chambers, Jackson, and Gates to throw to

Ugh. I cannot stop thinking about how bad Reggie is going to tear us up on screens.

I heard their secondary is banged up. Should be a shootout. Total is 51 at the moment and we are a 5 pt fave.

We have to get a push up the middle, and have our LB's key the screens. That will do. Broncos score 54

Brees never had Gates to throw to?

I agree he didn't have recievers on the quality of Chambers and Jackson but McCardell and Parker were still good receivers.

I think Shanahan remembers how to rattle Brees. He couldn't handle that 'punt block' formation and the pressure up the middle.

I have Brees and Bush in my FFL so I'll definitely be rooting for him though. :)

Hey sweetheart, your avatar is outdated. Your "little bitch" didn't have too much to say last sunday.

At least this week our opponents will have a MAN lined up behind the center!:wiggle:

I think our defense and special teams will play better. Bottom line is...if we can prevent the big plays...then we should smoke em'.

Sproles single handedly killed us. I don't give Reggie that much credit...we'll see.

By the way, a 3rd for Chambers was a steal. When I first heard that Miami was willing to let him go...I was crossing my fingers that the Broncos would grab him as a compliment to Marshall/Smith...but when he went to the Bolts...I thought, crap.

We might need 50 to win every game this year. In fact, I wish Shanny would just assume so and go balls out all season long like the Pats did last year.

This will be a good test for the defense to bounce back.

But i dont think we will have a problem moving the ball on them.

Sedrick Ellis is disruptive though.....Looking like a way better pick than Dorsey so far.

As i predicted.

We don't have a bonefide ground pounding offense anymore. I am starting to think if we did pound the ball that teams would start beating the crap out of us because our defense is worst than lay down Sally.

Ummm look at the average on running plays.........

We can run the damn ball its just the match ups are so great vs the two teamss we have played the passing game was a better option but yet we still ran the rock well......

But scoring fast does put the defense back on the field but bump that i still believe in this unit.

Broncos will shut the Saints offense down this week

Our defense is so soft the Broncos should field Orangemane regulars instead of paid players. We keep our defensive players rested so that they don't bruise their little elbows. Poor things! We wouldn't have to call for turnovers because we would not have any illusions of there being any. We wouldn't call for blitzs or sacks. We wouldn't be disappointed with stupid penalties. I bet would would actually be an improvement in some areas. I bet we have plenty of fat guys that could play defensive line for one day in the NFL. I don't think anybody would notice...oh yeah...the league. My bad.

I am going to call this. But if Denver lights up NO for over 40, and Cutler has 4TD's, he is going to give a good run at the TD passes in a season record, possibly passing yards in a season record also.

Jay isn't going after Broncos records anymore. Looks like he wants to rewrite the record books, and Marshall may do the same. These 2 are that scary good with eachother.

From what I've seen of them, they are pretty stout up front on defense.

They really get after the QB.

Maybe see a little more running this game, who knows.

Broncos always have trouble with a good TE (Gates, Gonzo), so Shockey worries me. Bush does not.

Deuce will be more involved and Pierre Thomas is a good back.

I see more Saints stuff than Broncos on a week by week basis, but I am a Denver native and will always pick the Broncos.

I don't see this working out well for the Saints. They dont have the balls like the Chargers do. I see them getting down early and folding. In New Orleans it might be different, but people here are wary and scared of the Broncos after watching Anderson and Droughns kill them before. They are already having nightmares about Hall and Young.

BTW - nickel back Jason Craft is a Denver boy. East High class of 94 bitches!

I expect the defense to be better this week. I really really hope the defense can show up and at least be decent.

If our defense gets lit up by NO after what happened on Sunday, then I will be quite worried about them.

We had 0 starters in our defensive secondary that game. in fact 5 of our defensive starters were out of that game. All things considered I think they did pretty well, even they were an improvement over our starters last year. The thing that really killed our Defense was our Offense. We could not establish a running attack for whatever reason. All of our scores were quick strikes that quickly put our defense back on the field. We simply could not control the clock on the ground and by the forth quarter our young defenders were simply warn out. That being said even if our starters are back you guys are still gonna score alot of points, but dont think you will be playing the same defense the skins were.

Way ta go out on a limb

That is going out on a limb. But if he throws for another 3+ TD's this week, he may actually have a legitimate shot at rewriting the single season passing records. He has already put up great number on 2 teams who supposedly have elite numbers, and in the Oakland game we were without our number 1 receiver. Looking at the schedule, which team has a secondary good enough to stop him. Jacksonville is a good team with a decent secondary and Denver vs Jax games are usually low scoring and running games. I really am beginning to believe that Cutler could have jaw dropping stats that crush records if Bates and Shannahan keep dialing up the offense.

Hell before the season i was predicting 30-35TD's and 4200 yards passing, now i am thinking he could have that many TD's by week 12 and that many passing yards by week 14.

I am predicting MVP for Cutler now.
