So I just watched the UGA/SC game and I didn't come away impressed with Moreno at all. He has nice instincts on following the block and run with pad lows, but I don't either the power or speed that would make him a good NFL back. I wouldn't touch him to at least the late 3rd
What am I missing? Is he a legate NFL running back or just very good college player?

Youre not missing anything. I watch a lot of SEC football and I think he is overhyped.
I didn't watch him for the full game today but I saw some after contact moves/yards that made him look like a difference maker. A little bit of a Barry Sanders in him. Just my opinion and I by no means have broken down any film on him.
Jeremy Maclin is another guy that is out of this world. Guy is goin to be an excellent pro.

He's the one guy I'd be willing to make a move for on draft day. Can you imagine Cutler throwing to Marshall, Maclin, Royal, and Sheffler? If Shannahan would let him go, I could see that group rivaling NE's success last year.

I have Moreno #2 on my draft board besides Rey Rey. Moreno would be perfect for the zone blocking scheme. He might not have great speed but his vision and cutting ability are second to none. He also has good power for his size and still runs in the 4.45 range. I think he runs like Portis with more Power.

He runs like Portis but with a lot less speed. Actually, I really dont think he is like Portis. He is like one of the slower RBs weve had...Olandis Gary maybe? I dont know. But not Portis. Spiller is closer to Portis when Portis was with us.

Havent seen a lot of him but his TD run at the end was pretty impressive. Outside of that im not sure.

Not too bad. I know that Kirk and Corso thought that UGA would run away with the game today but i knew South Carolina would be a little bit stingy. Will be interesting to see how Moreno does the rest of the season against more quality opponents. Thanks for the link.

I'm not going to say he's a 4.3 40 guy but he has amazing vision on the field, is great at setting up his blockers and is an amazing athlete.

I hope he goes in the top 10. That would be great. Maybe someone like Wells would slide a little.
