View Full Version : Fannie and Freddie and McCain and Obama
Another example of the pernicious intrusion of government where it doesn't belong... And both McCain and Obama are in it up to their freakin' necks...
The Republican nominee, Mr. McCain of Arizona, has numerous close relationships with and contributions from current and former company lobbyists.
Mr. Obama, his Democratic rival from Illinois, is second among members of Congress in donations from the firms’ employees and political action committees.

Having ties to company employees (McCain) is completely different than sitting down at the table (Obama) with Jim Johnson of Fannie Mae an Dick Fuld of Lehman Bros. I know people that work at Wal-Mart, but I never broke bread with Sam Walton and he never game me any money.
Don't worry. The Obama government will have numerous lines for those with issues they want to complain about.

McCains campn manager is a former Fannie/Freddie lobbyist... Give me a ****ing break.
Among the companies’ past advocates are Mr. McCain’s campaign manager, Rick Davis, a longtime lobbyist; Mr. McCain’s confidant and adviser Charlie Black, whose firm worked for Freddie Mac for several years ending in 2005, and the deputy campaign finance chairman, Wayne L. Berman, a vice president for Ogilvy Worldwide and a former Fannie Mae lobbyist.
Mr. Davis previously was head of the Homeownership Alliance, a coalition of banks and housing industry interests led by Fannie and Freddie to stave off regulations.

apologists.... LOL. Your candidate could rape and murder someone and there would be a reason why it was okay.

Absolutely. If only there were a candidate, loved by all, perhaps from an East Coast State - maybe even near Cape Cod that we could laud for his years of generous service despite a terminal condition?
Well I'm stumped, score one for the democrats.
