Ok I'm a little giddy after last night. but how bout that ball he threw on the throw away. Better arm than Griese.

He could start for the Chiefs.

In all seriousness though, I'd assume he's taken Rod's spot as the emergency QB.

He's already got a legal number.

His QB decision making is already ahead of Croyle's and it only took one throw.

seriouly though....

i'd like to see Royal used the way the Steelers have used some of their talented WRs...

line him up at QB and do a little trickery...it seems he can handle it...

i also like the way we used Royal as a running threat last night too...he was close to breaking long runs...

he can be our Reggie Bush type maybe?...

well i don't wanna get carried away...but maybe 3 carries a game on trick hand-offs, i don't know...

FYI, I'm a Virginia Tech alumn who's been visiting but not posting on your site since training camp started, interested in how Eddie's doing. I'm not going to go over how great Eddie is, how awesome of a person he is, etc (although he is *grin*), however I will tell you...Eddie attempted at least 3 or 4 passes in his career at VT that I can remember and he's got a cannon for an arm. It was rather interesting to see Shanahan use Eddie like that...I'm sure he's seen some of the VT tapes. Eddie does have at least 1 TD passing and an INT to his name. The INT was thrown across the field into coverage (bad throw) so it was good to see him throw it away last night.

Congrats on the win! I enjoyed every minute of it. I'm actually watching a DVR of it right now (for the 2nd time). Think you might have a new Broncos fan here on the east coast.

BTW, I'm drinking the Cutler and B Marsh koolaid...took em both in my fantasy draft.

He already showed better decision making on that pass than Ramsey did all preseason.
