RENTON, Wash. (AP) -- Seahawks wide receiver Nate Burleson (javascript:fantasyPopup('nfl', 6407)) is out for the season with a knee injury.

</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>Burleson tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee while trying to cut outside on a pass pattern on a rain-slicked field in Buffalo Sunday during Seattle's 34-10 loss in its season opener.
Coach Mike Holmgren says his team will also again be without veteran receivers Deion Branch (javascript:fantasyPopup('nfl', 5951)) and Bobby Engram (javascript:fantasyPopup('nfl', 3512)) for this Sunday's game against San Francisco. Branch is seven months into recovery for reconstructive knee surgery similar to what Burleson now faces. Engram may be out into October with a broken shoulder.
Seattle has three healthy receivers on its roster. Holmgren says the team may sign a veteran free agent before practice on Wednesday. Starting running back Maurice Morris (javascript:fantasyPopup('nfl', 5940)) will also miss at least the next two games with a sprained knee. Former Dallas lead runner Julius Jones (javascript:fantasyPopup('nfl', 6802)) will start against the 49ers

Wow, I imagine the Seahawks have to make a move for a WR now. Their WR's are owned.

Seattle now has ZERO quality WR's and a QB with a bulging disc, could be a long season around these parts.

Could we use D-Jack to get a high pick from them?????

He was a longtime Seahawk

They are pretty disenchanted with D-Jack in Seattle. I doubt there's any real interest.

They really didn't like Jackson his last year in Seattle.
