Tackled the Chef's receiver going in for the tying TD and then was in position to keep Bowe from catching the tying TD even though he slipped. Ex Bronco helping beat the Chefs....

He actually tries to make tackles?

Well, give him a season and he'll look like the Deltha we all know and love.

I thought it was funny the Bengals got rid of Deltha and Rudy ... and then rush for 34 yards .... And Deltha is good enuff for the Pats , but not good enuff for the Bungals LOL ... and after watching their secondary give up on plays and let people run around on them like tecmo bowl i think Oneil would be better than what they have ... that double reverse and QB scrable for 40 yards was just sad ...

I still can't believe Bowe dropped that TD two plays prior.

I find it a little ironic that O'Neal was the one who played such a key part in our losing to the Patriots a few years back (when Plummer was injured and we had Danny Kanell starting) and now he's probably their best corner.

I sure hope he returns the favor to the Broncos now that he'll be on the other team. It's the least he can do.

Yep, you know we have been spoiled with guys like Rod, Eddy and Shannon. Even Brandon. I tell you what Royal would have caught that one.

You have a lot of hate for the F\O, bro.

Past. Present. Future. You are at the very least, consistent!!

Re: Turning Deltha into a WR. I saw it more as trying to make lemonade from a lemon.

He should never have been cut. He has turned out to have a really good career. During his struggles Shanny should have moved him to nickle back instead of WR. As good as his ball skills were he could have found a home in Denver as a nickle back, but as we know Shanny's doghouse is big and it's one way only. Once in there is no coming out.

To bring this discussion full circle it was Deltha that intercepted Chief QB Trent Green 3 times in one game helping Denver to a win. I guess he loves playing the chefs.

you know all this talk about Shanny's doghouse being one way is bull****. Marshall was in this doghouse for being a vagina last camp after he got injured, but he got some sense knocked into him by the staff and trainers, went out and played his arse off. Do you think he still in Shanny's doghouse?

Well, Marshall might be the best WR in the NFL too. Being great has it's benefits.

Great player if you don't count too much on him outside his strengths. In the current scheme of intermediate and deep zones with a good cushion, he'd really excel. Fits the Pats very well.

wasn't Deltha the one who got burned for the 60+ yard pass that even put the Chiefs in scoring position?

thank you oubronco, Deltha mugged Bowe worse than the guys in Vegas who mugged Walker...

Yeah he ripped his arm down for sure but that ball was so badly thrown it could have been damn near uncatchable.

What game were you watching ? The cornerback has every right to the ball. O'neal did nothing wrong on that play.

Oneal got burned a couple of times. He also missed on tackles in run game.

It is sad for Patsy's that they had to put a Street FA on the opponents #1 WR.

This will hurt them as the season progresses.

no way. if that's Brady throwing to Moss, you bet your arse there'd be 4 flags coming in.

You guys are biased because we cut him. I watched the whole game. He saved the tieing TD twice. There was no pass interference whatsoever. He was between the receiver and the ball so he had a right to try to catch it. Besides it was uncatchable anyway. Did you see Bowe try to go through O'neal to get the ball ? NO

Wasn't there contact with in the 5 yards but Oneal ended up in position and looking at the ball? I though Bowe was out of position and trying to come back? I was juggling my 10 month old at the time though.

BTW CHANGE comes from NEW people with NEW ideas.
Not from some good OLD boy that has been there most of adult life and changed nothing and in fact been apart of the problem.

Don't tell me PALIN is a new face, he picked her to make the religious freaks happy. That is all and someone tell me
they think they want her one heatbeat away running this country. Religion and so called value voters put us in this mess to begin with.

Special interest lobbiest's run this country. It doesn't matter who is in the seat, they will follow the $.

I vote for the local stuff but I am sure they get bought by local businesses also.

My point is not about O'Neal and his position on the play, it's about the inconsistent standard of judgment used to make the call on that kind of play.

Also funny to think you'll get change out of a 72 year old that has been in Washington most of his life ?
