With each passing day, we are getting closer and closer to monday night. I am running how things might happen. The good, the bad, and the ugly. I think we will be better againist the run, and better in the red zone.

Now I am worried that we are starting 3 rookies on offense. I am concerned about our kicking game.

I am usually like this before game one. but this year is even worse because on one hand I am excited Jay and B-Marsh are about to take another step towards Superstardom, on the other I am concerned that we are very young at a lot of key positions.

what are your worries? How confident are you at the start of this season?

I'm concerned that the scoreboard doesn't have three digits to accurately display the beatdown about to be delivered on Oakland.

I am very worried, and I think a lot of people are underestimating the Raiders because of the past. I think that the this game will come down to a big play. Either a turnover or a long touchdown. I really hope Denver wins but I have a bad feeling about this game.

Red zone offense is where I see this team's biggest improvement over last year.....with Clady and Hillis blocking.....we will be vastly improved over 2007....

If our kicking has to win us games on a regular basis then we're in trouble, if we can turn those Fg's into TD's we'll be fine, and i think we will. So far from the pre-season it looks like teams will be starting from the 20 quite a bit so that right there is an advantage in field position. The only thing i'm really concerned with is the D...can we stop the run, can any of our DE's presure the QB...our D will prolly lose us at least 2-3 games!! We're gonna get owned in the PA..expect teams to get big plays that way!!

I'm worried this team will come out flat like the other road season openers.

they came out flat against oakland last year and got their ass kicked.

I expect another tight, low scoring game

if we turn the ball over we could lose this game. We can not be complacent in our opener again, we must come out guns blazing.

Hopefully our D can stop the run. If that happens this will be a blowout, but it doenst feel like that will happen.

I am always a nervous wreck before the games, but especially during Kickoff Weekend. This is a huge divisional game in primetime for the nation to see. I am sure there are going to be a lot of jitters on both sides and, inevitably, there will be some mistakes.

If Denver can come out and limit the mistakes and establish the tempo of the game through a solid running attack and ball-control offense while shutting down Oakland's running game, Denver should win this game.

Go Broncos!!

I am very nervous about Raiders Game.

They have very good running game and our defense is average.

On offense, we will miss B-Marsh.

I think the result will be be dependent on Cutler play.

Overall, I am not confident on our defense and i predict we either go 8-8 or 9-7 this season.

I'm worried that, as a result of the ridiculous kickoff time, 99% of the East Coast will miss how badly we beat the Faid down.

I'm worried they're going to drag Wesley Woodyard and Jack MoFo Williams out of the stadium in Handcuffs for killing half the raiders O.

Get used to one fact for our team.

The Raiders game, and the entire season now depends on keeping Cutler vertical. If our O-line continues to give Jay the time he needs, we win. If they start losing the O-line battles, it could be a rough season.

My prediction.
If Jay doesn't get sacked in the first half, it means we are blocking well, an he is making better reads. If that happens, we win by two TD's.
If Jay starts getting knocked, we will need a big play to win.
If they get 2-3 sacks, Jay will be forced into bad decisions, and we will probably lose.

The O-line battle should tell all.

Time will tell, we are one of the big unknowns for this upcoming season...Many "experts" have us in the bottom tier of teams. This could be justified, or it could blow up in their faces. I tend to look at Shanny's track record of putting together a solid offense strategy, and a defense that gets off the field. The big thing i've noticed so far this preseason is our ability to run the ball(control tempo), opening up the passing game, and the focus on stopping the run. If we do those things against oakland, I trust Shanny's ability to outcoach Kiffin, and we have enough play makers to beat most teams on any given week. We are probably going to blitz the crap outta russell, he might have a few big plays but we'll get enough heat to disrupt his timing.

I still get nervous for road openers. It goes back to Plummer playing like garbage in our openers every year. Last year we finally had decent play at QB in the opener, but it was still closer than I would have liked. Anyway, because of our poor showing in openers over the Plummer years, I am extremely nervous about this game and picked us to lose it a month ago. I have reversed from that since I've seen us in preseason. Hopefully the win in buffalo exercised those road opener demons.

I think this will be the year that we break that BS. I really feel like Cutler and the offense will come out prepared and confident and put up some points early.

pass defense...

that is it.

our run d will be solid, our o will be very good, and special teams will be much improved.

if we can get any pressure at all, we are a playoff caliber team...

if not, it will be just like last year, only we will watch teams move the ball at will through the air.

I am sick of making average qb's look like probowlers...

I don't care if we blitz, stunt, or go offsides every play, we need to pressure the qb.

end of story.

pressure is the difference between 7-9 and 12-4...

It is the Dawn of a new era in Broncoland.

Cutler will manage the O and we will be able to drive 90 yards as well as strike quick.

The D is my only worry. If they really are more agressive then we should be OK.

I believe that this team no longer needs a great D to win, the O can start winning games on their own.

My worries are on offense. I worry that Denver won't be able to run the ball and if that happens I worry about Cutler not having time to throw. It' s what the offense does that worries me.

Denver will put 8 guys in the box and shut down the Raider running game 31-115 yards, The Raiders will move the ball but will have to settle for FGS.

I am not worried about the Raider game... the Broncos should handle them especially after seeing the Raiders in the Pre-Season.. stinky!.

Now the Chargers game... that is a differnet story.
