its sad to see how bad the FO was at drafting.

We're great at drafting star players for other football leagues. Marcus Nash is a star in the AFL, Jarious Jackson is a starter in the CFL and apparently so is Willie Middlebrooks.

Good for Willie.
I really liked him a lot. I had high hopes for him, but he just couldn't stay healthy. When he started to show promise again, he was hurt yet again.

good, lots of people hate on players in other leagues, atleast they are making a career out of something they are good at and love to do.

Actually, he was a CFL star that tried to make it in the NFL and failed, and then went back to Canada.

Seriously... it's so funny how people around here still have the nerve to talk **** about a player who is making at least 2 or 3 times their annual salary playing a kids game, while they toil away in an office for peanuts. All because they didn't live up to expectations on their favorite team.

Yeah we had some crappy drafts for awhile there. I think its pretty clear the Broncos are understanding that the draft is not to be wasted. It almost seems like the Draft in the NFL has become more valuable than free agency.

Well on one hand you have the Washington Redskins.... and on the other you have the Indy Colts. I think there might be some validity to your point. :)

Taking a down away and giving the WR's a head start out of the backfield makes all the difference in the world to some of these guys Ha!
The Loonie is worth more than the Greenback anyways, so more power to 'em.

You know, if you really look at some of the ****ty roster moves - it's amazing how good this team has been with some of the talent.
I really like the drafting this team has done for a while - even some of the missed picks were picks that were picked because the Front Office knew where to build the team.
Seriously: Lelie screwed the pooch, Foster got soft after he broke that guys leg, Deltha was a punk, Middlebrooks was a bad pick per injury - etc
I mean a Speedy WR with good hands, a Big T on the OL, Cover/physical DB's - they didn't translate well to on the field - and yes blame does lay somewhere - but i can't argue with the positions they drafted.

That was actually one of the biggest issues with those drafts- they drafted positions rather than players. There were a lot of forced picks based on need, rather then focusing on accumulating talent. They're still filling holes through the draft, but seem to be smarter at it and are letting the picks fall to them.
