Chargers 11-5
Broncos 10-6
Chiefs 6-10
Raiders 4-12

This is the way I see things based on the preseason. As for KC, there is something to be said for front office stability and and a HC who has come from an organization in similar circumstances (NYJ), so he has experience on his side.

As for Oakland, eh, they flat out suck ballz. I watched their preseason game against a lousy Cardinals team that handed the ball over to them and I watched their offense implode. Russell may be a good QB in time, but he's gonna get wasted this season as defenses force him to throw. McFadden runs too upright and is one hit away from being jello.

Anyhow, what say you?

I'll agree with the top two, but I think the Raiders and Cheifs both go 0-14-2

Hell yeah we play half the AFC west, the NFC south too...second place schd...

We should go 10-6 maybe 11-7 if Jay doesn't miss more than 1 game...IF...we are screwed at bk up QB.

Chargers 12-4- Still the head and shoulders class of the division. Whether Merriman plays or not (I dont think he will) This team pretty much wont miss a beat. They have enough playmakers on the D side to make up for the loss of Merriman. From everything I've heard, they love the kid who will fill in for Steriod Boy.

Broncos 9-7- This team is still too young and inexperienced to threaten for a playoff spot, let alone the division. I think they will fall anywhere between 7-9 to 10-6. I know thats a cop out but when most of your front seven only have one or two years experience as starters, there will be plenty of up's and downs. The consistency won't be there. I also think MLB is a MAJOR liability, especially on passing downs. Like the Defense, the O is pretty damn young as well, including the O-Line. We all love J Cut, and B Marsh as players but they will probably be the only constent on Offense. To many question marks on the O-Line. Will Nalen be healthy at all? How will Clady fair in his rookie campaign as a starting LT? Can Sheff stay healthy? Who is the legit #2 WR? Too many ?? on both sides of the ball. In a year, maybe 2, we will be a force.

Raiders 6-10- So young but alot of talent. Not only will their D keep them in most games, they may steal them a win or 2. If their QB isn't the size of Gilbert Brown during the season, he should improve enough later in the year to not cost them games.

Chiefs 3-13- Actually, this may turn out to be the worst team in the league when the season ends. They have one great player on Offense (Gonzo) and he is approaching the 18th green of his career. Add to that the fact that someone has to throw him the ball, this will probably be his worst season numbers wise of his career. LJ looked done last season. Nobody in the receiving corps scares any NFL D-Back and Brodie Croyle may be the worst starting QB in the league. The D is "so-so" but that "so-so" D lost it's best player on the D-Line and I just can't see them holding opposing offenses to 10-13 points a game. Thats what they will have to do with such a bad offense on the other side. I wouldn't be shocked at a 1-15 or 2-14 record.

Denver's D is too soft still it will be up to O to carry us in 08. I do think we should win 10 or 11 games going by schedule but, because of D I went with 8 wins.

Almost all off-season I've said 8-8. I just don't have a good read on this team. I'd be willing to say I could see them win 12-13 games just as easily as I could see them lose 9-10 games. I just don't know right now, but I do think San Diego is going to win it all this year - unfortunately.

I think Sandy Eggos window is closing rapidly and I still don't think Turner is a good HC. They managed to win one playoff game last year with all their talent. If LT goes down, I think that sucks the wind out of the offenses sails. No doubt, they are loaded with talent. Talent wise, they should win the SB (the last three years they should have won it on talent alone, in fact, if you look at my analysis of this team, going back to 03-04, you'll see I predicted they were the best team in the division before all the pundits and other OMers).

I've picked them by default in a way as I think NE and Indy are in for a dip. The other two teams I see as real possibilities are Jacksonville and Philly.

Not to nitpick, but they won 2 playoff games last season (Titans and Colts).

Denver won 7 games last year and the D is much better than last year. The Offense is beter at EVERY single position. It's amazing to me you guys can't see this.

I don't think it's possible for KC to win only one game and the Raiders not to win any. Call me crazy. Otherwise I like it!

I don't deal with AFC West standings. Denver will beat Philidelphia in the Superbowl. 27-17. Champ will be SB MVP returning two INTs for TDs.

We win 9 games and miss the playoffs.

KC 3rd and Oakland last.

Chargers win their third division title in a row.

Just not our year yet.
