Alright I played alot online before the law went into effect prohibiting US funds being transfered to gambling sites.
I havent played online since because I never knew how to circumvent the law. I heard from poker buddies that you can go to Giant or Super Fresh (2 local supermarkets) and by a visa card, I'm guessing gift card? Supposedly you can use those cards because the money is not coming from a US bank. Does anyone know if that info is correct? Also, how do you guys play real money online and what sites do you play on?
Thanks Fellas

Any gambling website will still let you use your bank account and routing to play poker online, the law basically just shut down the poker websites.
I frequent sportsbook.com to play poker and bet on sports, I can deposit funds right from my checking account and go right on and play.
If interested just find and sports gambling website that has a casino as well and you should be fine, I do recommend sportsbook but that's because I've been a member there for over 3 years now.

Thanks bro. Another question.... do you have any problems cashing out? I know a bunch of people that got screwed getting their winnings when the law went into effect. Luckily I was able to get my cash. I just don't want to get screwed.

Full Tilt will allow you to deposit directly. Poker Stars you need to set up a direct transfer. I havent used Bodog in a while, but I think its the same as Poker Stars. I havent played on Ultimate Bet after hearing of the cheating scandal, but I might as I heard last night its as fishy as Party Poker was back in 04

I think with the VISA prepaid cards you might want to put a bogus out of country address. Once you cash out, you can have it sent to your real address. I just play for free and qualify for the freerolls. I do have over 18 million free chips at pokerstars so I am rich in free money! I did sell 1 million on ebay for $20 though (they shut down the auction since they think it is unethical).

No problems with Pokerstars, I cash out and have a check in the mail within 3-4 days. I wouldn't worry about cashing out on any major site. If they screw just one guy over, it would be all over the net and they would lose lots of players

Yep. I've been playing there for awhile now and have never had a problem.
I have an account with bodog as well but haven't played poker there for awhile. I place my football bets with them.
