I'm watching the Cardinals vs. Raiders preseason game, in Oakland, and it's amazing how bad both these teams are. Leinart sucks. He's thrown three INT's and he is pretty inacurate and has a weak arm too. Leinart is really making a case for Warner to be the starting QB.
But, what is so pathetic about this game is that the faiders can't score. The Cardinals are handing them the ball (thanks to Leinart) and they can't score. Russell is getting pressured alot. The faiders running game is not doing anything. It's really laughable.
I know alot of peeps here want to throw KC under the bus because of Croyle and Co. But I've been saying for a while that it's very, very possible that the faiders will be fighting the chefs for the last place spot in the AFCW.
Really? You know you can use the word SUCK when talking about the faiders ROFL!

I havent seen a Raiders game yet , but I had a suspicion that the Passing game was going to be very weak for the Raiders .......I also suspect their D is going to be weak also ...4-12 team tops

Sounds like Leinart played himself onto the bench again:

Put the beer bong down and step away from the under aged jersey chaser.
So Warner, Orten and OSullivan all won starting jobs.
We might have had to suffer through SOB, Bubby, Gus...have ups and downs with Jake before having a true franchise QB in Jay...but it must SUCK to draft a QB in the 1st (and even #1 overall) and then bench him.
The D hasn't dominated since Orange Crush days...but Denver fans have been lucky when it comes to QBs.

New season, same results. I know that it must be tough admitting that you made a mistake drafting a QB that early in the first, but they've go to deal with it. Matt has shown little to no improvement. I must put Warner down as a fantasy sleeper.

Gotta do whats best for the team. I'm absolutely shocked that Leinart hasn't been able to put it together. I really thought he was almost a lock.
I watched that game... the Fade is same song different verse this year. Their defense is stout, but their offense is just lost. They can't block anything. Gallery is a bigger bust than Leinart. Cooper Carlisle is still terrible. And Russell is having trouble making anything but short throws over the middle. He has a lot of deer-in-headlights going on right now. Not to say he won't grow out of it, but I'd be pretty concerned about it if I was a Fader fan (although, I'd probably be to coked out to know the difference I guess).

I was a little worried that Russell would get it together.

this really upsets me. He had everything to prove when fans and haters (CB24) thought partying with girls in a tub was horrible (off season mind you). I wont say that is the reason, but the naysayers will use it. USC is great on the college level but many at the skill positions arent doing what was expected in the NFL (Mike Williams, Bush, Leinart, Colbert). Warner is still durable as a starter so unless he gets hurt, Matt might be going in only on blowouts (of course they would be losing as when do the Cards actually are blowing someone out?)

I honestly thought that with all the needs the Raiders have on offense they were were going to take that #1 overall pick and trade it to the team offering the best multi pick package in return and use that to enable themselves to rebuild in a couple a years. Instead they drafted a salary sponge and it's starting to mildew.......

The Fades radio guys, Tom Flores being one of them, said the Fade first teamers outplayed the Cards firsties. Not out-scored but outplayed them.
Twice nothing is still nothing.

I thought that Oakland moved the ball ok for a while...Russell has a freakishly strong arm, but he isn't dealing with the pass rush that is always in his face.
Both teams played so sloppy in the first half, it was laughable, but I thought the Raiders looked better than 24-0 losers.
I was still encouraged by what I saw though, they don't look nearly as prepared as the Broncos right now, even with Walker showing up for the first time.

I see in Russell many of the same qualities that has left Byron Leftwich without a job. The deer in the headling response to pass rush, too slow during his progression and not the right mentality to face adversity.

I don't know why partying in the offseason received so much attention. He's a young guy who's fortunate enough to get a lot of attention from good looking women. Big F'ing deal. I don't really think it is a character flaw to bong bears and party unless it interferes with his ability to do his job. I don't know why so many USC offensive players haven't done well in the NFL. Carson Palmer has been great, but not too many have.

OK, here's the damn math that Flores is forgetting: The Cards turned the ball over 3 times and gave the faid GREAT FIELD POSITION on those turnovers and the faid could not capitalize!
Flores and the other guy were shifting the focus away from how crappy the faiders offence is to how great the faiders past is, and how Gene Upshaw was a true blue faiders, blah, blah, blah.
The entire organization is living in denile and living in the past.
