View Full Version : Who is our second best corner?

I thought about calling this thread -Dre Bly sux, but that didn't sound too appealing.
Why is Dre playing so scared? He is always off his man by a mile and gives up too many uncontested plays.
Foxworth is no world beater, but he seems to be playing much tighter coverage than Bly. And, he at least cleans up his own messes by making the tackle. Bly looks weak and lost.
Paymah has taken a step backwards.
I know Bly will be our starter, but this might be his last year in Denver.

I dont have problem with Bly in coverage , it is just run support .......

It's a toss up for me...the fact that Fox was tackling TO and Bly can't tackle a thing makes me lean toward Fox...he does get beat, but like you said, he can clean up his own mess

I bet its not tough for opposing teams. Which side should we run to, Champ Bailey's or Dre Bly's ? Hmm Is that Jarvis Moss on the same side as Bly...audible power sweep to left side. I think we see more of Foxworth at corner by midseason.

Well i think dre will be the starter but i think foxy will end up playing a lot more this season.

Bly is middle of the pack of the starters in this league. Regardless of what Foxworth says I don't see him as a starter. I can recall one pass defensed all pre season with about a dozen balls caught against him. Foxworth just doesn't make plays.

Bly has always been a liability against the run but he does make good plays but gives up alot as well

Who was the guy last week around here telling me that Dre Bly has been "nothing short of stellar" with the Broncos?
That was awesome.
