I just went and borrowed a ponch and pants from a friend. He hooked me up good, stuff he uses for fishing. Only problem, the Ponch is Navy on the bottom and Grey on the hood and top 1/4... Cowboys colors! I half expected it to have a Star on the back of it! No matter though, if it keeps me dry I'll wear it! I'll have cover once I get to the game, so I can shed it and show my true colors once I get to my seat! Let me know if you find a place to get the Broncos ones...

The Stadium store has some full lenght raincoats and some cheapy ponchos.
I'm debating if I'm goint to go. Nothin like getting frigging drenched for a pre-season game.
The RV is almost ready, BUT THE RAIN IS JUST RELENTLESS!

I can't believe the ticket prices for preseason? What's up with that?
We paid 150 for ROW 9 lower bowl for regular season.

It saved my freaking ass i would have been one miserable SOB but that's broncos fans for ya always willing to help out. But walmart/kmart or any sporting goods store should be able to hook you up.

it's not just rain. it's also cold. 52 degrees where i am about an hour south of Invesco. that would be fine for November. but for mid-August, that's a bit chilly. also, i don't have tickets.

Where are you? Larkspur, Monument?

yeah. tri-lakes area. at about 7500 feet. it's just miserable here. drizzly. foggy. windy. cold. good weather for playing football. not so much for watching football.

Yeah, we go down there every once in awhile. Fishing, eating at the mexican restraunt close to Monument Lake (just East of the train tracks). Nice area, especially west of the traintracks into the foothills!

If we go, you're welcome to stop by. At this point it's 20% go and 80% put some ketchup on the tix and eat 'em.

I have cover once I get there so the game itself will not be that bad. Kind of sucks that it's a preseason game though... the weather will likely cause us to pull our starters earlier than usual, and rightfully so. Meaningless game, don't get our guys injured!

Just got back from a morning class [Yeah I know, only a field class I am taking for two weekends and my school is literally down the street from Mile High.]

Let me tell you that from when I left the classroom to the parking lot, I was ****ing drenched. Drying off as we speak...can only imagine standing in that crap for 3 something hours.

Pouring rain...would they ever consider cancelling it?

Not if it was JUST rain, but they would if there was lightning and it would be delayed at first and if lightning persists then ya maybe it would be canceled.

I did see lightning and heard thunder when I was near Mile High this morning.

here's a link to some webcams of Denver, though I am not sure any will give you exactly what is going on right now.

Also, www.weather.com will give you a hourly weather outlook if that helps.

I will say this, I am in CO Springs and the rain stopped a couple hours ago and the sun is now out and clouds seem to be moving back a little. I don't know if that will move up to Denver as well and of course in CO if you wait 5 minutes the weather will change again, so now that I have said that I am certain it will start raining again.

I'm about 5 miles east of Invesco and it's nothing but storm clouds and rain. I hope it stops and dries out very soon.
Those large boys on the Dallas lines will have a big advantage, unless the Broncos switch from cleats to 'spikes'. ;D

Sun is out in SE Denver as well. Personally, I'm glad it won't be hot tonight. Looking forward to some fun down at Invesco. Go Broncos!

I must say that was one Pain in the ass tailgate. F-in rain sucks. the canopies almost blew away and trying to put the side curtains on with the wife and daughter was an adventure.
We did meet Oskie and a couple of Disco's regulars came by to visit.

I'll take 20 below zero and snow over that rain **** any day. **** getting wet.
