Moral of the story is
the authorities are very cruel to prisoners. If you think American prisoners in our prisons get treated well you are wrong. As citizens we feel differently about prisoners based on why they are in custody. Often guards and police feel if you are there you are crap and the treat you accordingly.
I know a man I used to work for in HS. He went to prison and he has cysts all over his neck and spine they won't remove. He's be writhing in pain in a cell for last 7 yrs with no medical care.
For illegal aliens I would say don't risk ending up in the system. Go home it's not worth it. It's not worth a better job just to end up like this.
Also the govt needs to help people that will make good Americans get legal quicker. If people have been in the country, working, not breaking laws for a long time I don't see why we can't make it easier to become Americans.

There is no philosophy of government that can legitimately erase simple humanity.
