Go to Java.com and install Java. It's a Java chat room.

Yeah, I knew it was a Java chatroom. It was the whole reason I have Java. I removed it and reinstalled it and now the chatroom is working. Thanks for the help.

Just trying to help, not insult your knowledge. The red X was almost certainly a Java issue, so I was trying to point you in the right direction. Glad you got it sorted out.

anyone else getting "error connecting to server, please try again in a few min" error? i cant get into the chat

I see... I've had more java issues w/ my wife's laptop that runs vista than w/ this machine. I'll soon be phasing in Mandriva on my desktop though... buh bye microsoft
