Even your big mouth door-to-door prospector BroncoBuff only kicked in his funds today ... cause it's PAYDAY ;D

Hopefully those of you who put it off 'til Payday can also kick in now, $5 or more twice a year is great ... that's just one fast-food lunch every six months to keep the OrangeMane fully lubricated and operating at full speed :~ohyah!:

Send a check or money order to "OrangeMane" to the address in my sig below, or PayPal to: OrangeIsaac@gmail.com

Plus, There's BIG server news from Taco John regarding a serious upgrade in site hardware (http://www.orangemane.com/BB/showthread.php?t=69741). Reportedly, the OrangeMane will actually coming out of Chicago now. So, in principle at least, broncosteven will hear everything a second or two before the rest of us ... ::)

Plus there's a software upgrade in the works, TJ will keep us updated on that.

And two FIELD-LEVEL seats for the Aug. 29 Broncos-Cardinals game at that great new Phoenix stadium were donated by Vegas Bronco, and are up for auction. Click my sig below ↓

You're mighty sensitive about this topic, Sass, you're the only one complaining ... maybe just take your stingy self to the next thread, okay?

Nobody's forcing nothing on nobody, so just relax, it'll all be over in three or four days ;D

Maybe you should ask me if I've donated before? Or if I plan on donating anyway?
Not that you need to know or anything...I am very generous...just ask my friends, family, co-workers, etc. So yeah, I kind of resent that "stingy" remark.

Well I resent the "annoying" remark.

Sorry ... kiss and make up?

I disagree. Buff is doing a great service to the site by pushing the fundraiser.

Not annoying at all. Many people take for granted that a single person and not a business keep this site running. So the more he can get people donating the better.

Keep up the fight Buff.

Yep, having supported (time and money) a site for a fraction of the time that TJ has, I can say that I have great respect for what he has done.

And along those lines, this is especially important now because TJ is extending himself quite a bit by upgrading the server and hardware (see thread in main room), so we wanna come through for him, not leave him holding the bag for a big upgrade. Besides, it'll be over in a few days, I for one won't carry this near the games.

And remember, we'll be starting another kick-in drive when the playoffs being (remember, twice a year - steady support). I'll be more low-profile about it though, Sassy ;D

While he may not want to, you should try and talk TJ into an email or PM blast when your next 'drive' is underway. Someone like myself will be spending most of my time on BF, but if I know about the donation drive, will donate some money. You might be surprised by the number of people that are 'part time' members or who fell off the grid that might chip in a bit if they get a reminder.

Talk is cheap so Buff bringing this up on payday is a "put up or shut up" kinda statement as they can't pull that excuse as easily now.

But, Buff, come on... your blankets are made of 100s sewn together, you're a lawyer... you can't pretend to even notice when your bank accounts swell a bit more. *Sigh* "Rich folk..." :)

Well, Taco John is not initiating this, he's not the kind of guy that sticks his hand out ... in fact definitely not that kind of guy. He's the exact opposite (which makes this even more worthwhile). I say "not affiliated" just to make clear neither he nor Blueflame nor any mod is initiating this at all. This is a USER gerenated kick-in fund because most guys are like me I think, for all the freaking time we spend here (I'm about 3 hours average PER DAY), we should kick something in to help TJ pay the bills - whether he asks for it or not ;D

We are at just over $600. I just renewed our vBulletin license and have downloaded the latest upgrade. I'm looking at backend code right now so that we don't lose some of our board personalizations. Once I'm confident we're set there, I'll work on getting the board updated.

.Oh, I know and he probably never would and I'm all for helping out if we get a server that can handle the traffic.
