It was so hot and bright out there to day I'm going to start from the outside in because it a lot easier to see whats going on.
Defense:
CB's:
Champ Bailey: Champ was Champ. Rarely tested and passes defended when thrown toward.
Dre Bly: Was beat on a deep 9 route by B Marshall. Did make up for it later with pick off of Culter pass over the middle.
Domonique Foxworth: Never tested.
Karl Paymah: Solid coverage all morning.
Jack Williams: Had a nice recovery on one play when he was beat by Darrell Jackson and knocked down the pass.
Christian Morton: 3 teamer unnoticed
Lamont Reid: 3 teamer unnoticed
S's
Hamza Abdullah: Had a pick off of Hackney.
Marlon McCree: Played side-by-side with Hamza with the 1's. Ok with run support. Did have a wicked hit on a receiver trying to make a catch over the middle seperating him from the ball.
John Lynch: DNP (just found out that he quit)
Marquand Manuel: DNP
Roderick Rogers: Only ran SP.
Josh Barrett: Unconsistant. Sometimes will blow a play up and be in the mix. Other times don't even know if his on the field. Had the play of the day. Next to the last play of the day. Scheffler made a catch on a dig route on the near side and started running toward the far sidethen up field. At that time he meet Josh Barrett and Josh stripped the ball out of his hands and ran the other way.
LB's
D.J. Williams: Looks so comfortable at Will. He looks like he did during his rookie year with one exception. Because his played Mike too he sticks his nose inside more and really blows some stuff up today.
Boss Bailey: One of the best pick ups from the offseason. No problems covering and even tipped a ball today. Doesn't get pushed around on the run.
Niko Koutouvides: Good vs. the run. Very limited on the pass.
Jamie Winborn: If anything happens to either the Sam or Mike DJ should move and Winborn take the Will posistion. He can flat out fly.
Nate Webster: Weather its Nate or Niko on the 2's they help the unit. No different today.
Jordan Beck: Plays Sam with the 2's, batted a pass. kickoff coverage.
Louis Green: Plays with the 3's.
Wesley Woodyard: DNP
DL's
Like the OL hard to see anything spefic. I did notice something on the Monday and today. When Jay is flushed from the pocket, he either steps up into the pocket or he'll scramble to his right. Jay did scramble to his left once today but I think it was more of a Sprint left option play than a scramble. Moss had a tip at the line and Crowder provided a good bull rush on Harris.
