With Pittman moving to FB, is he a likely cut as long as Hillis comes back healthy? Or does he have a chance to bump Sapp off the roster?

With Ekuban playing pretty much all DT, it looks like we have 6 roster possibilities there, with him, Thomas, McKinley, Robertson, Peterson and Mallard. Assuming EE stays and of course Robertson and Thomas, and hearing good reports on Peterson (starting) and Mallard, might McKinley be on the bubble?

At o-line, I figure Nalen, Hamilton, Clady, Kuper, Harris, Holland and Wiegmann are locks. I can't see Lichtensteiger getting through waivers even if they don't deem him ready to contribute, so that could be another roster spot for him. Have Gandy and/or Alexander far outperformed him so far in camp as backup guards? If there is one more tackle kept, does Polumbus have a good shot at replacing Pears? I've read positive reports on him here.

Linebacker - sounds as if Larsen could be headed to the PS from the reports I've read. If we keep 6 LBs, is it pretty safe to say the last spot goes down to Green and Beck?

Might we keep 5 safeties? Sounds like Barrett is doing well, so if he sticks Manuel would appear to be on the bubble ... unless Lynch retires.

I would say that is a pretty good take. There will be cuts that surprise all of us.

I think Pittman has a ligit chance to bump Sapp from the roster as a FB, but he has little to no chance of making the team as a RB, at this time.

I think Mallard is more on the bubble than McKinely, at this time, but that is JMHO.

Lich is a rookie and I don't see him getting released or cut, even if he has a weak training camp. The Broncos will probably make room for him, they may risk putting him on the practice squad, hoping another team doesn't pick him up. Polumbus, from what I've read does have a good chance of replacing Pears, Pears might get cut.

I'm not sure about the LBs. Larsen doesn't sound like he's having a good camp, so PS is a real possibility. Also, Woodyard could be PS material as well. Beck seems to be a nice suprise, only time will tell if he makes the 53. I'll tell you one thing, the LB that plays the best STs is the guy who will make the final 53 man roster.

Safety is not a strong position for the Broncos, esp. with what is going on with Lynch. Abdullah, Barrett, McCree and Lynch will probably all be kept. If Lynch retires, that will make space for Manuel.
