which broncos are you going to draft in FF this year?

its hard to take a bronco RB since now they dont get many TDs (atleast one specific RB doesnt). bmarsh would be an awesome pick if he doesnt get suspended. im gonna try and take tony scheffler in the 3rd or 4th round though. what about yall?

I actually think Cutler and Scheffler are a good pick. Running backs are a nightmare, but Selvin is young, bigger and seems like he's going to be the guy. I would take a later pick on him and then take Torain with your last pick or as a free agent. We'll hear about Marshall's suspensions soon, and that will affect his value obviously. Of course if you play with a bunch of Bronco fans, all of them will be overdrafted.

There is not a single Bronco I would take unless they fall in the draft. Jay, could put up numbers, but if the ground game gets going (which I hope it does) that takes away from his numbers and especially scores. BMarsh is a top flight reciever, but with a 4 game suspension looming, that will be a pass and you know how unreliable Denver's RB's are in a fantasy league. If I can get Cutler after the 4th round or Sheffler after the 8th round I will take them, but I ain't overpaying for the Broncos this year. Lessons learned in the past.

Unless you are in a league with more than 30 teams, you'd be absolutely insane to take schef that early. Having said that, he is probably one of only two Broncos I'd consider drafting in the first 10-12 rounds (DJ Williams is the other - I play in one league with individual defenders).

^^^ I would take Cutler as my number 2 QB in the 10-12 range, he has the ability to put up big numbers if Shanny passes a little more in the redzone. Otherwise you are right. Can't be a homer in FF and expect to win.

Cutler will be there in the 3rd. Marshall would be nice pick in the 4th. Other than that I think the steal this year will be Prater. I think he is gonna get alot of points. We dont have a clear cut redzone RB so we might be kicking alot of FGs this year. Scheffler will be there in the late rounds 6th-10th rds. Other than that its pretty much best available.

The question was who are you drafting not "who are you drafting early/in the first round?" I think saying you wouldn't take anyone is a little harsh. Mike Shanahan has a pretty good offense and saying there is no one worth drafting for fantasy on the team is a reach.

I never draft Broncos in FF but if I we're going to - it's tough sailing this year. Cutler would be the highest Bronco worth taking. The RB position won't fall to one guy and the OL hasn't been consistent enough in the red zone for a RB to get a lot of TD's. BMarsh's injury and looming suspension knock his value down and while D-Jack and Stokley seem like sleepers, they're bottom-of-the-draft guys at best. Scheffler's injury history is the only that would scare me there, otherwise he's a great FF option. Prater could be a real sleeper, especially if we continue to move the ball well without scoring TD's - Prater's got a much stronger leg than Elam so he could rake in a lot more points. Obviously Torain is a nice late-round sleeper but all-in-all I wouldn't expect much fantasy value from the Broncos this year - especially with the porous OL.

Those 14 team leagues are tough. You have to pick a core of 4 studs to even have a chance. QB's always seem to come in short supply as the season progresses.

As far as Broncos go, every year I pick with my orange goggles and screw myself. I have Cutler franchised in the only league I play in so he will be it for me this year (although BMarsh would be tempting in 2nd or 3rd round).

I had Cutler last year and he's always been really consistent for me. I want him again this year as I think his stats will be better. Unlike some I don't expect a doom and gloom season.

Scheff and DJack. I had to autodraft last year and was starting Cutler, Marshall and Scheff at one point. Thank God i picked up Derek Anderson or my season would've been a mess.

If(when) Marshall is suspended, it might make his stock fall to the 10+ range, which would make him a huge steal when hes able to play again.

Also, Sheffler is another I think will put up great numbers, assuming he stays healthy.

Jay and Selvin, for me, depends on how far they fall. If Jay is there around the 7-8th rounds, I will get him. Selvin if he is there in the 12-14th round.

Impossible. He is the starting RB for the Broncos, and that's all most FF players know. I can't imagine any starting RB's still being available in the 12th round. All backups being picked by then.
