Moon-walker claims alien contact cover-up

FORMER NASA astronaut and moon-walker Dr Edgar Mitchell - a veteran of the Apollo 14 mission - has stunningly claimed aliens exist.
And he says extra-terrestrials have visited Earth on several occasions - but the alien contact has been repeatedly covered up by governments for six decades.
Dr Mitchell, 77, said during a radio interview that sources at the space agency who had had contact with aliens described the beings as 'little people who look strange to us.'
He said supposedly real-life ET's were similar to the traditional image of a small frame, large eyes and head.
Chillingly, he claimed our technology is "not nearly as sophisticated" as theirs and "had they been hostile", he warned "we would be been gone by now".
Dr Mitchell, along with with Apollo 14 commander Alan Shepard, holds the record for the longest ever moon walk, at nine hours and 17 minutes following their 1971 mission.
"I happen to have been privileged enough to be in on the fact that we've been visited on this planet and the UFO phenomena is real," Dr Mitchell said.
"It's been well covered up by all our governments for the last 60 years or so, but slowly it's leaked out and some of us have been privileged to have been briefed on some of it.
"I've been in military and intelligence circles, who know that beneath the surface of what has been public knowledge, yes - we have been visited. Reading the papers recently, it's been happening quite a bit."
Dr Mitchell, who has a Bachelor of Science degree in aeronautical engineering and a Doctor of Science degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics claimed Roswell was real and similar alien visits continue to be investigated.
He told the astonished Kerrang! radio host Nick Margerrison: "This is really starting to open up. I think we're headed for real disclosure and some serious organisations are moving in that direction."
Mr Margerrison said: "I thought I'd stumbled on some sort of astronaut humour but he was absolutely serious that aliens are definitely out there and there's no debating it."
Officials from NASA, however, were quick to play the comments down.
In a statement, a spokesman said: "NASA does not track UFOs. NASA is not involved in any sort of cover up about alien life on this planet or anywhere in the universe.
'Dr Mitchell is a great American, but we do not share his opinions on this issue.'

Yeah, militia already sold his seats to the Aliens (a.k.a Faider fans) in exchange for immortality. I guess he like what he sees from the 200 year old Al Davis.

I love this stuff ... I'm pretty skeptical, but when there are reliable people who source these stories like this guy, it's fascinating stuff.
I dunno about this guy, I would want to see him on videotape to discern his coherence and lucidity, but we do know that there were bizarre small UFO bits that were positively catalogued on early space missions, that is fact, they were filmed with onboard devices. And NASA denied their existence for many years.

JUST for something interesting:
http://www.boudillion.com/lam/lam.htm
http://www.boudillion.com/lam/Lam.jpg http://www.boudillion.com/lam/Grey.jpg
by Daniel V. Boudillion
Preface:
This report presupposes two very outlandish things: that there are "aliens", and that some people (occultists) have "magickal powers." It is not the point of this report to prove whether or not there are such beings or powers. What is known is that there are people who believe that there are such beings and believe that they have such powers. The crux of this report is based on what people believe, which may be very different from the way things really are. Please bear this in mind.
This report also recounts some very curious behavior on the part of a number of people. These behaviors and events actually did take place and are fact. However, the supposed results of these events are entirely subjective and entirely in the realm of belief. It is not my purpose to try to prove or disprove the beliefs of the people involved. It's what they did (and do) because of these beliefs that interest me.
Introduction:
I first became curious about a possible connection between the "grey aliens" of popular UFO culture and the activities of certain occultists after seeing several of UFO investigator Ray Fowler's books on the recommended reading list of a satanic website. In an idle moment I had done a Google search on Ray's book, The Watchers II, and one of the spots that listed it - much to my surprise - was the recommended reading list of a satanic group. (It is not my moral judgment that this group is satanic, the group itself calls itself satanic.)
I found this both disturbing and inexplicable - for what reason would a UFO book be included in the curriculum of a satanic group, and why Ray's book in particular? I emailed Ray and asked him if he had any insight into the situation, but he was as perplexed as I was. And there matters rested for a year or so until additional information came into my hands, information that may indicate - much as John Keel himself believed (Mothman Prophesies) - that occult activity may be an ingredient of the "grey alien" mystery.
The pictures below bear a resemblance and may hold the key. The first picture is a drawing made by occultist Alistair Crowley of an entity he had invoked repeatedly in 1918 and called "Lam." The second picture is a composite drawing by Ann Direnger (Contact of the 5th Kind - Imbrogno) of an "alien" type reported throughout 1980's in the Hudson Valley. Having noticed the similarity, I proceeded to investigate the connection.

The easy route is to chuckle and claim others to be conspiracy theorist. However, there was enough different sources making similar claims during the Roswell incident for me not to think it is highly likely. Combine that with the US Government's scramble to classify and cover-up most of the details only adds to the likelihood.
What I don't completely understand is why the government would be so hell bent on covering it up. It is a matter of thinking that knowledge would cause panic amoung the masses? It is becasue it would rattle peoples religious beliefs and teachings? Assuming there has been cover-up I would be really interested into the thinking behind it.

Dude, if aliens could travel the trillion of light years from even the nearest star that could POSSIBLY have life, they would have to be so freaking advanced they wouldnt have to play little human "mind games" or form secret alliances with the bad government humans.
Thats the "human" element humans always try to force into the equation of aliens.

It is interesting to see a semi-credible source step forward. Even though the size of the universe actually makes it seem likely, I'm skeptical based solely on the fact that 99% of these fruits and their tales are absurd. See, thats what is known as FICTION. OR some people refer to it as "science fiction" (key word there is fiction).
Here let me give you a simple example of the absurdity or the really, really advanced ability of the "alien".
If you could trqvel to the nearest star outside our solar syatem it would be Alpha Centari.
No one on earth knows, but it could harbor life as a guess.
For the sake of the discussion, i will give you FANTASY TECHNOLOGY to explain how far Alpha Centari is.
Lets say you could travel 1 MILLION miles (think DR Evil) in a 24 hour period.
It would take you 70,000 light years to reach Alpha Centari.
Heres the human element:
If aliens were coming from other galaxies, they would be so mother****in technically advanced they would not need to play stupid mother****in mind games and hide behind the clouds and abduct cows and preform weird experiments on THE REV'S coworkers and then replace them twice as ****ed in the head as they already were.

Once again Alec hits this on the head.
Mitchell is likely the most unstable astronaut of the Apollo\gemini\mecury era. I think he and Scott Carpenter squeaked by on physical and flight talents.
Mitchell had set up an ESP experiment while on Apollo 14. He set it up with out Nasa's knowledge. After NASA declined to allow him to conduct the experiments in the schedule he arranged with some ESP group to think about certain shapes on cards at rest intervals while he was on the moon's surface while some ESP freaks on Earth turned cards over. They were supposed to match, they didn't.
I thought I had read that he gave up on ESP after that failed.
He was one of the Apollo guys that thought the streaks of light they were seeing was Alien transmissions or something. Buzz also thought at 1st that the streaks of light the astronauts were seeing was related to Alien influence. It is funny because I read in one book that when he told Neil about the streaks of light Neil ignored him, He didn't even respond to him and Buzz finally gave up on Neil he went to Mike Collins who said he saw one or 2 but was not concerned about it.
NASA later found that it was radiation that penetrated their brains and was visible when/if it crossed their retina's. Don't quote me i am going on memory here.

Of course that's what they told you to believe so you wouldn't be onto their game. ;)
Really, you only see about 20% of what you "think" you see. The brain's construction of what is your perceived reality is amazing. Precognition, tracking, etc - it's an amazing piece of hardware - but really - scientists are starting to understand that you don't see nearly as much as you see.
It would be possible to put people "under a spell" so to speak. Maybe simple things like Fluoride in the water supply could be a catalyst ;) -
Of course, alls you'd need is to institute some systems of control (competing reality grids) - to keep people focused on the "drama" going on around them - and not really beyond the stage.

Chillingly, he claimed our technology is "not nearly as sophisticated" as theirs.
...aliens described the beings as 'little people who look strange to us.'

See if your library has the volume 18, number 2 2008 edition of Scientific American Reports - it's a special edition on perception using illusions. OK.....
So what are you sayin?
Think about it. You only really see 20% of what you "think" you see. The other 80% is constructed by your brain.
I used the movie "they live" as a funny way to get my point across. But the mechanisms of control outlined in the movie - COULD work. Not to mention, once you get so much instituted into a culture (competing reality grid), it self perpetuates - where "tradition" (Ie, programming) is passed on in the family unit and society of that culture.
SO, IF there were aliens and they sorta had us "spellbound"/"sleepwalking" - would we EVEN really know? Since all your input that you "sense" is a chemical reaction in the brain, it is possible that "wonderland" ideas aren't so far fetched. Not to mention you'd be conditioned to accept what is outlined as "normal" and "real".
You control words, you control what people think.. You control what they think...you control what they see.
From my post above:

The old "how do you know we're not all being brainwashed right now?" argument. Someone once asked me how I knew everyone around me wasn't an illusion and that it wasn't all my head - like a comma or Star Trek holodeck. I don't know that. There "could be" and infinite number of realities that are being obscured from me. But thinking about that is just mental masturbation. You can only deal with the reality you're given. I choose to believe my life experiences are reality.

Alpha Centauri is a trinary star system and very very very unlikely to harbor any life outside of a remote possibility of microbial life.
Alpha Centauri is 4.2 light years away (roughly). At 1 million miles per day, it would take you 63 THOUSAND days (approx) to travel one light year. Doing the math on that it would take you 742.2 years to reach the NEAREST star which, as I stated, is very unlikely to harbor life much less intelligent life.
Why no life? Trinary star sytems are complex and any planets within them would not have stable environments in order for complex life to evolve.
Now, taking the nearest average dozen stars the distance between them is roughly twice that of Alpha Centauri and Sol (our sun). The 12 closest stars have an average distance of 8 light years apart. Or 63 TRILLION miles * 8.
Using current propulsion methods, there is not enough matter in the UNIVERSE to even reach the NEAREST star. That is to say, if we could somehow harness all the hydrogen and oxygen (the two gases we use for propulsion in space) in the whole of the universe, AND convert every heavier element and mid range element into those two elements, we could not get there. Ever.
So, the advances of an alien civilization that may have visited this remote, very sparsely populated, very resource "dry" area of the galaxy are extremely remote. But let's assume, for arguments sake, that they have some how managed to subvert all our known laws of physics and were able to travel by some method, faster than light speed.
If we could travel AT light speed, it would take us 4.2 years to reach our nearest neighbor. Even doubling that would take us 2.1 years. Quadruple-ing that would still take just over a year. That's just our nearest neighbor. In order to travel across the galaxy, one would need to go orders of magnitude faster than light or, by some means (worm holes, quantum tunneling, warping of space, space folding) shorten the distance between the stars.
To put this in perspective: Of the four ideas I mentioned, we are minimum 1,000 years away from being able to do that if any of them are even possible. Which means any alien species that MAY have traveled here, will be at MINIMUM 1,000 years more advanced than us.
Now, look back 1,000 years in human civilization and see where we were then and where we are now. That's how big the gap would be.
Mind games are just not an option. Fermi's paradox asks a great question: If alien life exists elsewhere, where are they? That is, given the scale of the galaxy and universe itself, and the time it has existed, and the possibility of life being able to travel faster than light, long long ago we should have picked up signals, or been directly visited by such aliens.
I think the answer to Fermi's paradox is simple: It is not possible to subvert the speed of light by any means. We are stuck on this rock, in this system, forever. God's way of saying "Hey, I built this great universe and populated it but everyone has their own section and no one gets to visit another, that's only for the after life". A big **** you to all the atheists out there.

You watched too many "X-Files" episodes.
Not really. The odds of any life form actually traveling trillions of miles like in a space shuttle type craft is remote. I would think that we are visted by aliens that are able to travel through worm holes. They can rip the fabric of time and just travel right through it.

Aren't the new "String Theory" guys essentially abandoning the expoloration of our galaxy and Universe and instead trying to theorize how to slip into another parallel universe along the lines that Ames is going?
