The Protium Injector System is a 'bolt on' conversion of your vehicle allowing it to operate on 100% Hydrogen Fuel made "On Demand". No fuel is stored in your vehicle, only water.
Projected Release Date - November 2008
http://www.protiumfuelsystems.com/index.html
they are offering classes to teach you how to make money putting this on cars for other people .
School is in session!
On 04/18/08 PFS announces the first of many Certification Classes will begin in May. Although the school is open to all that wish to attend, the main purpose is to help our Dealers and Installers not only learn how to install our systems but also to understand Hydrogen, it's history and dispel all the Internet Myths about Hybrid systems or the use of Hydrogen as a fuel supplement.
PFS will pay for room and meals which is included in the registration fee and for those that wish to purchase a "3T" system along with registration, we've offered a special reduced price for that purpose.

If it was true every household would just need an injector and a standard PEM fuel cell and everyone could live off the grid, it looks pretty and green in my head :)

That's one of the best bottles of snake oil I've seen in a long time...i love the use of mathmatical transitivity without an explicit temperature function as the Zeroeth Law of Thermodynamics.
Listen up folks...the day someone actually invents cold fusion...they won't be hawking tee-shirts and coffee mugs on their website...

With even a little bit of Thermodynamics and Chemistry it's easy to see this would never work. Sure, it's no big trick to electrolyze water into hydrogen and oxygen and then to burn the hydrogen. The result is, ta da!, water! Since you start and end with water, you don't get any net energy out of it. In fact you lose energy to heat in the process. (And what the hell do they mean by a "more powerful form of Hydrogen"?) Cold fusion is indeed more likely to work than this stuff.

first off...these Protein Injector (sic) guys claim that they are not using Stan Meyer's "invention"...read the last item of the FAQ
secondly, Stan Meyer died of a brain aneurism...not murder...
thirdly, you are right...cold fusion isn't as far fetched as I claim...it's even more...there is no free lunch dude...even if you think there might be...there isn't!
...and if there were, it wouldn't be discovered by some profiteers selling merchandise with "Get off your Gas" logos on it and offering distributorships and do-it-yourself kits...we talking about cold fusion and these guys are selling hoodies...c'mon...don't be the rube these hucksters are counting on to make money...or go ahead...it's your money...good luck getting it back when you get a box of pinball machine parts in the mail...

Like has been said earlier, the technology that these guys have purported to discover is cold fusion. This is essentially the holy grail of the science world, as it would essentially produce free energy. If these guys discovered cold fusion, they would be publishing their reports in reputable science journals, winning Nobel prizes and becoming gods in the science world. As it is, they are hawking cheap wares on their website that looks like it's from 2002 and isn't even properly formatted for Firefox (lol).
If it seems too good to be true, it is.

I guess this depends on your definition of free...there is energy that is "free" to us as humans like wave energy, solar energy, wind energy, and geothermal energy, but all of these sources of energy are not "free" in a thermodynamic sense (primarily because they cannot be). The Sun provides for solar and wind, hydro-electric dams convert kinetic energy into electricity, the moon's gravitational effects create wave energy that can be converted into electricity...in all these cases, energy is not "created" only changed from one form to another...and in each case there is loss (in terms of useable energy) in the process, hence it is not "free."
I'm not full of BS...it's just not possible to take water, break it apart, combust the gases to put it back together again, and end up with excess usable energy in the process. This is what the Protium Injector claims to do...drive your car by breaking up and putting back together water...it's a lie.
I'm more receptive to the possibility that their hybrid system might theoretically work, but it could only work if the internal combustion efficiency gains were greater (in terms of net energy saved) than the energy required to carry and electrolyse the water and inject and manage the resultant gases into the chamber. I'm doubtful about this, but at least this proposition isn't offering "free" energy.
Regardless of one's knowledge of thermodynamics or physics or mechanical engineering, one look at that web site should be enough to tell you that the Protium Injector is a crock...they are selling coffee cups and thongs...
good grief...I got your protein injector right here...anyone want to invest in it?
