A Plan For America

What do you guys think about this plan? You can figure out on your own who's it is, I'm just throwing it out there for discussion. I think there are a few interesting ideas, and a few crazy ones...

Domestic

A. Cut Federal Income Taxes by 2 percent per year over four years, for a minimum total of 8 percent over four years.

B. Reduce Federal Government Departments in size by 4 percent each year, for a total reduction of size by 16 percent over four years.

C. Eliminate all public assistance for able-bodied recipients. Cut off all public assistance for immigrants for five years. Repatriate those who are not working, after two years.

D. Immediately impose tariffs on cars and trucks owned by foreign entities, even if they’re manufactured in America.

E. Cause illegal aliens to build a wall between the United States and Mexico, and then, repatriate them. Pay them a one-time worker fee.

F. Increase pay for active duty combat troops by 10 percent. Number Two. Fire any unmarried military person becoming pregnant while on active duty.”

G. Make abortions illegal, except when the physical survival of the mother is threatened, to be determined by three medical doctors. Require Norplant for all women on welfare of childbearing age.

H. Close all houses of sex and massage.

I. Expand the DEA, while decriminalizing most drugs.

J. Regarding the media; one, eliminate all foreign ownership of any American media entity. Two, break up overly large conglomerates, like News Corporation.

K. Encourage child bearing among tax paying citizens. Create a marriage incentive, through lower taxes for married heterosexual couples. And a government subsidy for each child conceived and carried to birth. Increase the subsidies for each year the couple remains married.

L. Repatriate all illegal immigrants now incarcerated. Encourage all other illegals to self-repatriate through double taxation on wages and fines on employers.”

International

A. Iraq. Send in Iraqi troops to mop up pockets of resistance. Make Iraq pay with their oil for the cost of the war. Cordon off Sadr City, force all residents to leave, then go in and mop up all resistance fighters. Divide Iraq into three to four sectors; Sunni, Shiite, Kurd, and International. Next, remove all U.S. troops after above achieved.

B. Iran. One, sanctions embargoes and mine their harbors. Nothing goes in, nothing comes out.

C. North Korea. Destroy their launching platforms, impose a Naval blockade on all goods coming in or out, except food.

D. Israel Arab Entities. Give Israel four years to become self-sufficient. Cut off all foreign aid to all nations.

E. China. 20 percent tariffs on all China made goods immediately; rising by 5 percent each year for each year China refuses to revalue their currency.

F. United Nations. Withdraw immediately. Remove all Diplomats and staff. Convert the United Nations building into housing for the working poor.

G. Mexico. Force Mexico to pay one barrel of oil for every illegal alien in the United States of America per month.

dude and this sounds alot like socialism forcing women to take norplant "which some doctors do not this is a safe birth control" ... i'd just get it over with and move outa the U.S. if i really thought i wanted to live in a place with those rules ... even tho i wish young people would stop dumping out kids left and right you can't force birth control ... this aint China ...

Could also be Ron Paul. Lot of incentive to squeeze out babies, I'd imagine a former OBGYN would be all for that.

I like several of the points very much, really don't like a few, but overall its a list of basically impossible tasks to achieve in modern America.

A. Great idea, lower taxes are better

B. Excellent plan, I have some ideas of where to start but there are a lot of places.

C. I am against free money for almost anyone, but I do support the provision of free services for those in need. Able bodied people likely aren't in need but some sort of works program for them would be needed to ensure some labor type job is available

D. Not sure about this one. A little too protectionist for my blood.

E. The wall is fine, but a real commitment to stopping illegal immigration needs to be made. I wouldn't be opposed to allowing some illegals here the opportunity to apply for citizenship and remain in the US while doing it if there were no furhter immigration

F. Part 1 Yes; Part 2 - undecided, is that really a big problem?

G. Part 1 - Yes but with 2 doctors nad survival is too high a standard - significant diability should be included. Part 2 - again undecided, but as part of the requirements to receive welfare I'm not opposed.

H. Eh, don't really care

I. Why would we need to expand the DEA then? I do agree with decriminalizing some drugs like marijuana, but I'm not quite so liberal on others.

J. As with the cars I don't tend to think that because a corporation is American it is significantly better towards Americans.

K. Don't care for this one much. Improve services provided to children so parent's don't have to bear so much of the burden.

L. Yes and Yes

A. Get out of Iraq now

B. Stop this foolishness with Iran and enter real good faith negociations. Stopping Isreali threats against them is also important in this

C. Continue with the current Bush revival of the Clinton plan which is making some progress. Encourage pro-democracy groups within N. Korea. Do not provide them with further reason for isolation and weapon building.

D. Yes. humanitarian aid should continue in my opinion, but not military aid.

E. I don't know if that's economically feasible. Again I think a least a joint EU and US group should be approaching China here.

F. The UN in its current form is a debating society. I think that a lot of good could come of it but it is in need of restructuring.

G. How? War? We have had the ability to take care of this problem for years. I don't blame the issue on Mexico.

I saw a movie once with many of these same ideas. It was called "The Handmaid's Tale."

C. In 1996 when Welfare Reform came out, that's exactly what they proposed, not allowing able bodied adults on welfare and time limiting any financial assistance. The welfare rolls dropped drastically. The Bush administration comes in and makes all kinds of exemptions and by 2004 the rolls had tripled again.

For some legal immigrants they do restrict assistance for 5 years. But the refugees are guaranteed assistance. They get them jobs immediately but within 2 years they have learned how the system works, quit their jobs and demand their benefits.

E. Stupidest idea yet. That wall just cracks me up. Expensive and worthless.

F. Does that firing include the father, if he's in the military, too?

G. Sounds too much like China. But let's definitely not give assistance to someone "because they are pregnant". It's about time they realize it's a choice and they are "job ready" when that kid pops out regardless of age. And let's not give additional assistance to anyone who becomes pregnant while on assistance.

K. Hate this one. Sounds like Russia, like we're encouraging people to have kids they cannot afford. Tax subsidies will not help them afford them. This will lead to young people getting married and producing children faster than they are now. And it would lead to loveless marriages. Just overall stupid.

A. Just get the hell out Iraq and the middle East altogether. Start worrying about our own country cause it's in bad shape right now.
