Looks like an endangered species.

:)
Man, that's just low. Is that supposed to be funny?
It was actually $40 million guaranteed. And part ownership in the franchise (he turned that part down).

For us, SD, or KC. Have to add that stipulation. At this point I am pretty sure Al is content with buying up all the discards from the AFC West. That way one of them will have at least marginal success and he can gloat in the fact that he stole a player from his rivals. Its pretty much all he has now.

Such an unusual name, "Latrine." How did your family come by it?
We changed it in the 9th century.
You mean you changed it TO "Latrine"?
Yeah. Used to be "sh*thouse."
It's a good change. That's a good change!

Raiders Rock posted real information? That's weird. Usually (s)he comes in here thumping his chest like every signing is going to take the team to the super bowl.Hilarious!

Wow, The Grim Reaper (TGR) got Wesley to agree to a salary barely half the league minimum for a 9th year veteran, AND he got the NFLPA to sign off on it.
Give credit where credit is due.
Of course, the information could be wrong. ???

How many highlight videos are there out there with someone dragging Wesley into the endzone while he is making a vain attempt to punch the ball out of their arm? Honestly, the only reason I can see for the Faiders signing this guy is to learn the KC playbook. Afterall, the loser of that series will sitting in the cellar and I think maybe Greasy Al is tired of that spot.

Lynch causes fumbles by causing the ball carrier to cough up the ball - along with his spleen.
Wesley (attempts to cause) fumbles by batting at the ball.

You mean, other than being in the same division as the Raiders and Chiefs?
Love the ironic name for your website, by the way.

Why would you sign a guy just to get ahold of the Chefs playbook?
I will give it to you for free.

DJ back to the weak side, B. Bailey to the strong side...you know guys that can tackle unlike Webster and Gold last year...D. Robertson at DT, another year under Crowder, Thomas and Moss' belts. Going after big named players doesn't always get you a super bowl..ask the redskins, i'm happy that we didn't go after any big named players..history shows that those moves haven't been the best for this team so we went after low key guys that fit the scheme of the team..not saying we'll win the division but we won't be in the cellar unless we're hit with the injury bug again this year!!

No way, Davis is still in charge, he probably got 4 years at 60million with 30million guaranteed plus an additional 10million just to sign

Wesley already injured with Raiders
It didn't take long for newly signed safety Greg Wesley to find the training room at the Oakland Raiders camp.
Wesley, who signed with Oakland earlier in the week after the Chiefs finally released him, was nowhere to be seen on the practice field Friday morning because of what coach Lane Kiffin termed "back spasms."
Wesley, wearing No. 22 with his dreadlocks protruding from his helmet, took part in the Raiders' first practice on Thursday but spent most of the team portion standing 30 yards behind the secondary, watching the schemes of his new club.
Wesley, who spent nearly nine years as the Chiefs' starting strong safety before the club implemented a youth movement last season, does not figure in the mix with Oakland.
The Raiders are set at safety with former first-round pick Michael Huff at strong safety and former New York Giant Gibril Wilson, who signed as un unrestricted free agent at free safety.
"We're just going give Greg a chance to make the team and see how far he
can take that," Raiders coach Lane Kiffin said. "Obviously this is very late to pick him up. We gave him the
veteran minimum contract so there's no risk on our behalf and it adds more
competition to the group."
And having Wesley's knowledge of the Chiefs _ whom the Raiders visit in week two of the season _ doesn't hurt either.
