Domonique on a local DC station from last hour...the hosts are friends of Dom's so it's a bit different than a normal interview. 30 minutes or so, slow download (10.6 MB) so be patient...it's worth it.

I'd love to kick the one host in the balls - but that's me.
"Jake Plummer made some retarded throws last year. Is he retarded?"
Um, do you watch football?

He said Jay Cutler, not Plummer...

It was 100% totally tongue-in-cheek, he was just doing schtick.

I listen to Big O and Dukes all the time, I'm sad I missed this interview. Supposedly Foxworth was friends with these guys back when he was drafted.

No, he really didn't. I actually stupidly rewound it to see if he really said it. Then I thought, "Maybe this is from last offseason." But there's enough reference to stuff from this offseason ("Royale" - kill me now!) to make that implausible.
As for the comment about it only being schtick - well, I sort of agree. It's not very good schtick - but each to his own.
Kudos to Foxworth for going on there, though. He was a pretty good sport, considering the combined mental age of the guys doing the interview.

By the way, I'm not being critical of you for posting it. I actually enjoyed listening to it, and listened to the whole thing. I kind of hate the way radio has gone the way of "titillation by shock value," but I enjoyed listening to Domonique Foxworth. The guy is pretty sharp, and he comes across as a really decent guy. So, thanks for posting it.
