I thinking that Spider is talking about the movie the Kingdom which premiered on HBO last night. I hadn't seen it the theaters either and was pleasantly surprised on how good it was. The only problem was Jeremy Piven played his charactor like Ari from Entourage

Only part I didnt like was the near the end when that woman took on that big asshole , when she got his gun and shot him in the leg 4 or 5 times it should have been over , but the rest of the movie I liked .......

was a good movie ... not as much of a leftwing hit job as it got panned for when it came out ... It did bad in theaters not sure why but has done well on dvd ... Not a bad movie tho I watched it as well last night and also almost started a thread cause it was pretty moving ... and it was also great to watch Jason Bateman bich the whole movie non stop over nothing and then at the end have something to Bish about and be totally quiet LOL
...


ALL and all tho it was pretty good and not as left as the right made it out to be i didn't think ..

just as comparison the Dark Knight did $155.34M not that The Kingdom is spost to make dark Knight money but 17 mil is not a good opening week for ANY big film

The Game Plan a kiddie movie with the Rock in it was # 1 for that week with $22,950,971 with The Kingdom being 2nd with 17mil

The film has been extremely successful in the rental market, grossing $77.4 million in the United States as of April 13, 2008


It was considered a bomb/failure in theaters cause of it's opening week being not #1 and how fast it was out of theaters ... it only ran for 4 weeks in main theaters ...

agree .... and i think some didn't see it cause they thought it was going to be far more a leftish movie ... I being somewhat right didn't think it was that bad ... i would say it took a hit here for that

Neither am I , I am more of a Will Smith fan , but Fox played the role well
