Proposed George W. Bush Sewage Plant makes ballot Thu Jul 17, 8:27 PM ET



SAN FRANCISCO - A measure seeking to commemorate President Bush's years in office by slapping his name on a San Francisco sewage plant has qualified for the November ballot.



The measure certified Thursday would rename the Oceanside Water Pollution Control Plant the George W. Bush Sewage Plant.

Supporters say the idea is to commemorate the mess they claim Bush has left behind by actions such as the war in Iraq.

Local Republicans say the plan stinks and they will oppose it.

This was already posted once. What bothers me about it is the people who work there I read don't like the idea. I wouldn't feel right about voting for something that I knew was going to upset a regular working stiff for no good reason other then to slam the President. They feel like it is saying there job is unimportant because the people see it as a slam to name it after Bush.

I guess some people won't care about that.

I really like the title of the thread, although you somehow forgot to mention that Clinton got the library by actually selling pardons for hundreds of criminals and lost his license to practice law as a result, but hey don't worry about that at all ;D
