After watching the trailer, well... the graphics look a bit better but the game looks as bad as always. I love how the QB, after getting hit, still acts as if he's holding the ball even though he already got rid of it. They've being doing that since 2003.

You're one of those dudes that complains about Jay Cutler looking unrealistic, aren't you? There's another thing I don't give a **** about - player's faces. 90 percent of the time you're looking at the backs of their jerseys. WHO CARES?

Nah I don't complain about Cutler looking unrealistic. It just boggles my mind that they haven't fixed something that looks as stupid as that, in over half a decade. I mean how hard could it be to change that animation? Stuff like that MATTERS, it makes for a more enjoyable gaming experience. I remember playing ESPN 2k5 and watching the WRs-CBs matchups on replays all the time because it was so well done it was a pleasure to watch.

It still looks like the same crappy game. But you're so used to crappy things (like the Chiefs) I guess you don't mind. :wiggle: :thumbsup:

They have sucked for years and will continue to get worse. The astounding amount of bugs in 08 amazed me. I can't believe EA considered that a finished product.

see i actually bought the gamecube version of 08 because it lags the bugs of the 360 and ps3. This year i dont know what im going to do......Maybe the Wii? PSP? lol actually the PSP is the only one to use the old play calling schemes that i liked....dont know why they got rid of them and changed the format on the ps3 and 360 versions a few years ago.

The guy at gamestop said they rebuilt the graphics from the ground up or something along that line...madden wasn't all that great when it first came to PS2 either..give it time!!

They have basically 9 months to put together a new game. I like madden, I haven't liked every years product, but I will buy every 2nd or 3rd years game. To me the only difference in graffics is they keep upgrading the texture.

Did you watch the video it looks quite a bit better than last years game a lot more different types of player movement. Not everything is gonna be perfect...i do think a little compitition would be good though.

They moves are slightly varied from last year. Not saying Madden should be perfect, but after years and years it shouldn't be progressively getting worse.

Its got all the same problems madden has. 30 ft jumping linebackers, idiotic recievers breaking off their routs etc :P

Ncaa is the best football they've put out. But it certainly is not going to amaze anybody. It's basically getting back to the solid game it was on ps2. I like it, but i don't see myself playing it for the whole year like I used to.

I tend to think if you really like NCAA 09 or any of the football games that much you really aren't a fan of video games really. Just of video football games. If you like video games as a whole these ea products are very modest accomplishments compared to something like gears of war, metal gear solid, or grand theft auto which will blow you away sometimes. As a huge fan of football video games I just wish EA would try to culitvate that type of playing experience.

Yeah I just got a loss on the ****ing game because I jumped offsides a TOTAL of 4 times in a game, maybe one every quarter. I'm never playing this garbage again. NCAA ****ing blows.

Funny this is I meant to put "is" not "isn't" in my post. I was a little under the influence. I hear with the 60 FPS, the PS3 version will play better. So I'm pretty excited about this one. 08 was just trash. I haven't touched it in 3 weeks. And I just bought it a month and a half ago. I mainly bought it so I could adjust to the controls so i would be ready to play 09. The PS2 version is definitely better.

I started playing Madden on PS2 with the 02 version, so I'm aware it takes time to adjust to new hardware and whatnot. The thing that pisses us hardcore Madden gamers off is that EA does not bring over the current gen features to the next gen. When they do, they call it a new feature which is BS. The Franchise is what I'm mainly talking about. Its horrible on the PS3 and 360. With Head coach being bundled with Madden this year maybe I can get the best of both worlds though.

I did like that PS3 demo. I don't play NCAA yearly. In fact the only one I ever played besides this one was 04. I'm real impressed with this one compared to Madden 08. The Madden 09 demo should be out on PS3 and 360 soon. If I'm not feelin it, I'm definitely going with NCAA this year.

I would rather play on-line than the computer, so the franchise modes and what not don't really matter to me. Yea winning 50-0 is to easy but on the harder difficulties it seems like the computer "cheats" and you'll fumble or some stupid **** everytime, it gets annoying and fustrating. I also don't like it when your running the ball pretty good and do a play action and the D doesn't get faked at all and you get sacked. I would just like as realistic game as i can get...with the PS3 and 360 you would think they could have fixed that by now...but then again you gotta realize they come out with these games once a year, they don't have as much time to fine tweak things like they can in other games like Gears of War for instance..so you just gotta be patient with it i guess!!

Ya, i jsut got the demo and it plays EXACTLY like madden 08, which in turn means madden 09 will most likely be rehashed garbage from 08. EA is terrible.

I don't think so. The controls on NCAA at least feel more responsive than madden 08. Its by no means perfect, but that demo has more of a polished feel than madden 08.
