Ok here is another dumb question........i guess it would be better if only people from the denver area answered this for me.
I am already going to 12 games this year... and stupid me is thinking about adding the other 4 games in denver. The only way i can do this is if i save on a hotel and rental car by flying in and out on the same day.
Now for the question.
The games start at 2pm denver time.........do you think its possible that after the game i make it all the way to the airport on time for a 7 pm return flight?
My thinking was roughly the game will be over by 5, but i didnt know how long it takes to get out of the traffic, to the airport, return the rental car, and go through security, check in, etc......... any ideas?

Trying to rush to the airport like that would take all the fun out of everything....not to mention I don't think it can be done.
You would be boarding your flight at 6:30 or so if it took off at 7. The game would last until at least 5 or so....get out of traffic by 6:00 pm. Not enough time to get to DIA and check in, get through security, etc....

Dont listen to these guys. You can make it. Make sure you rent an SUV while you are wasting resources on your own selfish desires. 12 games is enough. Sit your ass home and watch the other four.

You'd have an outside shot if you left during the beginning of the third quarter and that's a huge if. Take a red eye. It's probably cheaper and you can take your time.

Frontier is cheaper than Southwest? I got round trip tickets for me and the family (3 adults, one lap child = no ticket) for less than 650 on Southwest.

Hmm, well I never heard of frontier until I got to Denver anyway so obviously that wasnt an option out of H-town.
No worries. only 3 more weeks and I will be living in the area anyway.

Completely impossible unless you leave early. From Mile High, its about a 30 minute drive to the airport in no traffic, but counting the traffic and the dropping off the rental car, I don't see it happening.

have Brandon Marshall drive you...
with the extra lane he uses, and his reckless abandon you should be there with enough time to grab something to eat before you board.

I was thinking of doing something similar a coupe years ago. One thing you have to consider is the flex schedule. We had a 9pm flight back to LA but had to change our flight because the Seattle game got moved to the evening game. It was a pain. Had to pay a reschedule fee and had to add one more day to our hotel stay.

Why bother going to a Broncos game when it becomes a business trip type schedule. At minimum the full experience should be two full days IMO.

"Could someone please be kind enough to either set up my helicopter flight from Ivesco or give me the City of Denver's police phone number so i can set up my chaufuer service for my "expedited" limo drive to the airport?"

Beat me to it! Yeah the game is great and being there in person is something else, HOWEVER, to fully enjoy the experience, you have to at least have time out to tailgate, get schnockered and do it again the next day, post party!

Just getting out of the parking lot and then out of Downtown and then out of the Mouse Trap and onto I-70 will take until at least 7:30! Then you have to deal with Pena and security. As already has been said, don't try it.

Believe me i know about staying more than one day.......actually the games we play back to back at home im just staying in denver the whole week in between.
just figured it could be cool to make all 16 since im so close that was all....

Yeah i understand......i was able to schedule my classes online on webct and blackboard.....i really dont like those.....but i figuredit would be impossible not to. As for work... i ahd 6 weeks vacation, and another 6 weeks in comp time saved up so thats the only reason i am able to even consider this.
But thanks for hating me.......I'll keep that in mind when i am at all the games while your at a little sports bar, studying for a midterm, getting annoyed by the guy next to you for clipping his nails at the bar and having them fly in your drink (you will get that more if you know what its from lol)

well for starters.....i have little overhead in my life which helps.....car is payed off, credit cards are paid up (well they were till the airline tickets lol)
Get to live in a dorm at school....so it doesnt cost me anything out of pocket......so basically the money i make is for me to do what i want with (and let me tell you saving is not in my vocabulary)
With that being said...I work full time at CSU (Cleveland State University) for the CSUPD ..... plus another advantage is working there full time lets me go to school for free......another added bonus.

actually no, it has nothing to do with that.......I am a double major in OMS (operations management and statistics) as well as Accounting.......a little more tha 2/3 of the way done with both.
As for what I do......basically write tickets, have cars impounded, stalk the hotties walking to their cars LOL jk

Luckily, I live in a place where I get the majority of the games on TV and sports bars here aren't too bad. I had to take on a Saturday class this fall so that seriously inhibits most of my extra-curricular activities (sucks when you work and go to school full-time). I still wish I had more that 1 game a year!

well not everyone.......but if they are even close to the line....i write them for being over it etc..... I've actually been in this situation...I've flown in from Minnesota for a couple games and needed to be back Monday morning for class. Had a 7:30 flight that made me miss the 4th quarter....it's worth catching a redeye to see the whole game you spent so much to see.
