I've sat in just about every part of the stadium at this point, I've yet to have seats that I didn't really like. Say what you want about the place, its laid out REALLY well.

I believe I've sat in that section before, but I could be wrong. It's wine & cheese territory I think....not much in the way of upper deck like fan participation, but no beer showers either.

Unless you want a posh place, The Red Lion (or Hotel VQ or whatever it's called now) is right next door. Just shut off the thermostat if the temp goes below 56 degrees.

I went to the Jacksonville game last year and nearly missed the entire 1st quarter. Nobody could help me get to my seats. I don't know which end it is considered, but we were in the end zone where the flames go off when every touchdown is scored. The way it is layed out, you can only get to the 3rd level at that section. Beware of that.

Yeah no kidding! That's where the crazies are! Endzone seats really at either end can be awesome and they can be sucky depending on which end all the action is happening. The south stands are generally a riot no matter what happens. We had seats in the south stands in our last playoff win against the Patriots and it was a blast. I also had north endzone seats in the Chiefs MNF game where we killed them a few years ago. When the action's at the other end it's hard to tell what's going on, but when they're right there by you, it's awesome.

My season tickets are in section 232, not far from there....just a few rows above section 132 and that area is not a wine and cheese area.

There may be a few whine and cheesers sprinkled here and there, but mostly hard core fans.

Is that the South Stands? I stand corrected then.....all I know is it isn't anywhere near as nuts as the upper decks. Great seats though, well worth the extra smacks.

As per your hotel, what was the Red Lion (I'm not sure who runs it now) is right across the street - practically in the parking lot. That's a great spot as you can just walk over to the game whenever your ready.

Yeah thats the South stands. Wine and cheese is on the East and West sides. I agree with you Hogan it gets crazy in the 500's. A few years back against Philadelphia the fans were talking all sorts of trash. Then the Broncos proceeded to start kicking ass. The fans in my section were relentlessly picking on Phily fans. Man we got bad.

502 is where the crazies are at...I think AK is going to make a legendary comeback this year. If I remember him saying he is coming back up to 502 this year.

My first game experience was a Bronco/Raider game too. Mine was on the first level though, and it was at the original Mile High, but the Raider game is the BEST game to have your first game experience at! :D Mine was the infamous "snowball" game, where the snowballs were being thrown from the stadium onto the field and at the players. If I remember correctly, one of the Raider players jumped into the stands and hit a fan. Charles Woodson, I think it was, if memory serves me right. It was November 22nd, 1999. I'll never forget the date, because the same night, this family that I grew up with, her 9 year old son was killed trying to cross the Boulder Turnpike that night to get home in time for his curfew. Broncos won, but it was a devastating night.

Yikes, sorry to hear that.

It's funny because mine is the 23rd November. My Birthday in section 503. It'll be cold but I will have my beer coat on. I have no idea what to expect (except a Broncos win of course...)
