Just checking here because I have heard mixed reviews. I just came by some 50 yard line club level seats about half price on ebay (Section 310 with parking pass).
So I have heard some people say it sucks because the club level is all "wine and cheese," and they don't like you getting too rowdy. Has anyone sat there before? Has anyone experienced this?
I am pretty loud - ok very loud - when it comes to Bronco games. I'm yelling crap about formations and players all game long. Will I be out of place in the "Club level?"
Just checkin'...

Yes you will be out of place. I sat there 2 years ago during the loss to San Fran and I about got in a fight with all the apathetic "fans" sitting there. They don't watch the game and complain everytime you stand up. A big thumbs down from me. Go South Stands!!

AK would be the one to answer since he is part of the wine and cheese but dresses like he belongs with us real fans in the South Stands. Club level are the types that wear their company polo shirt proudly displaying the corporate 500 logo. The game is secondary and dont need the rift raft coming to their special level to actually root on the Broncos. What, You think you are at a football game?

Buy the tix and get rowdy. Me and a buddy splurged on them for the Indy game in 06, we did plenty of cheering and had old school fans cheering around us. I was encouraging someone's kid around us to get rowdier, the Mom loved it. If someone or group of people try to tell you to tone it down, embarass the hell out of 'em. It took the rest of the stadium a few season to gell and build that chemistry, club level will come around when we cram some energy into it.

I was there for the MNF game vs Patsies a few yrs ago. The one where Brady threw a TD pass with .30 to go!!! It was awesome though and there were some loud and prouds there too.

I sit club level every game and miss the SouthStands where I came from. That being said the amenities and views are great and there are a growing number of us rowdies up there. My advice is to try it once to say you sat there. Drop me a line and I'll have my bartender up there hook you up.

just what pat bowlen wanted, rich wine and cheesers with no love for the broncos............invesco has nooooooooooooo soul.. its all about $$$, i'm not even sure bowlen cares about the product on the field.
He knows you will fork the cash over no matter what!
I hated it. football is best around drunk obnoxious bronco fans that drink cheap ass beer and show up already three sheets to the wind. I will never do the club seats again. When I stand up and scream "tear his ****ing head off!, I don't want to be asked to be respectfull and to sit down. It's football, not polo.

My father-in-law had season tickets for 3 years and the fans there suck. Its what is wrong with the new Invesco. They get mad if you cheer and stand. I would care less then they started the cell phone bit. My father-in-law cancelled his season tickets and when they called him he said it isn't football they way they have it set up.
That said one game at that price I would do it. But regularly I wouldn't. Now they have club level that isn't in the 300's for season tickets. Its in the 100's back against the first row of boxes. Those are fun. Oskie got them and I love that area. My father in-law had those too and those were great. But he always used those.

I miss the old South Stands...I learned my first expletives there. Also that Vance Johnson, "****ing catch the ****ing ball, you overrated 3 amigo piece of ****"
I also saw a Raider fan get punched in the bathroom. I haven't been to many games at the new mile high, is there anywhere as obscene, crude, and drunk as the old South Stands?

They do thier best up in the 500s. I do prefer the club level seats. Since then installed WiFi I can check the Nikkei Index on Sunday afternoon, with a glass of Chardonay as I check out the football match

I sat there for one game. It wasn't bad at all. There was this drunk lady behind us that kept yelling "Git 'emmmm!" every play, which was really annoying, but that was only the fourth quarter.
Did it once. Kind of expensive but if you get in at 1/2 price then it's fine. Didn't really seem like there were any "amenities" once you were in your seat. It was just a seat. Everybody around me was screaming their a**es off. Seemed like I was on my feet for most of the game as was everyone else - Chiefs game, you see. Oh, plus the can was pretty close without a line.
ya I have twice. Definitely not worth the money unless you are on the rail at mid field.

I sat in the Club Level for one game - it was quiet compared to my days in the South Stands.

I grew up going to Bronco games in the South Stands (since 1968). Some memories:
Len Dawson walking towards the South Stands on crutches. As he got closer to the Chiefs locker room under the stands a single solitary snow ball comes whistling out of Section CC headed straight for Lenny. It fell short of the mark, but the fans cheered anyway.
The Buffalo preseason game after the famous "half a loaf" game. As Lou Saban approached the locker room at half time what seemed like hundreds of half loaves of bread came sailing out of the south stands towards Lou.
mid 80's, a bronco receiver missed a catch in the endzone. I heard from behind me "I could have caught that!!" I turned around and ex-Bronco Butch Johnson was sitting in the row behind me.
I miss the old South Stands (sit in the corner of the North endzone now)
I remember going to the first reception of the club level at Invesco with a friend who had club level tickets. Pat Bowlen started his remarks saying "To my best fans ..." The crowd was mostly a bunch of corporate types. Give me the old south stand rowdies anyday.

crap...is all of the 300s a bunch of non-cheering tennis watchers?
I got tickets in the 300 section and i hope the fans arent passive.

Was in club level for the AFC championship game several years ago and had "broncos fans" sipping their wine and sucking a fat one telling me to sit down. It sucks and is a complete waste of space, oh except for the liquor being served so I got real jacked up and obnoxious, suprised I didn't get thrown out because it was like being at an opera and golf clapping while I was stomping and screaming. They will hate you, but I say go and be rowdy as can be!

We sat at club level last season for the MNF game against Pittsburgh. While the view was great and the waitress returning every 10-15 minutes was highly inebriating, we were very rowdy and were told to sit down at least once... very few in the near vicinity exercised the same level of annhilated unrestraint. But when you're that tanked ... you start to not notice anymore.

Well, it sounds like everyone survived, taught the great washed masses how to cheer and got to take in a Broncos game from a nice perch. What's not to like? ???

I've sat in club level probably 10 times at the new Mile High. Its nice inside, with carpeting, heating, and cushy bars placed around... but its not worth the face price of admission. The people in the seats are not consistent, because most of the seats are typically corporate owned, you never know who is going to be there next to you at game time.
One of my buddies spilled beer on some fancy lady's fur coat, but she was cool saying: "I'm at a football game, its to be expected." The view is definitely better than the 500s, only half the people really care about the game, but if you're by good people, its still fun. We've been yelled at a few times to sit down (mostly by guys wearing business casual attire or fans of the other team)... but when you're face is painted orange and blue and you've been drinking whiskey and beer since 10am, who cares.

Even if I didn't have single drop I wouldn't care. I would probably turn it up a couple of notches.
God I can't wait to go to Denver.

OK.
I got the 2 tickets + a parking pass for $380. Not bad since that is really face value for 1 ticket + the pass. 50 yard line, about 15 rows back. I figure if there are any empty seats, i'll move closer to the rail.
So for those who have been there - what is included? I thought there would be some finger foods, but people are talking about food and drinks?
What kind of food?
Is booze included, or do I still need to get tanked in the parking lot?

This thread is great! Thanks for sharing these stories. I sat club level a few years back, vs the Colts and came face to face with Renee Herlocker and a few other cheerleader hotties.
Some crusty old b!tch freaked out on me when I was pounding on the seats, trying to fire up the defense. Little did I know her purse was on that particular seat. That woman looked at me like I was legally insane. To be fair, I was wearing a foam horse head and was one of the first people in the parking lot that morning, tailgating. I still told her to stick it.
I would recommend the club level. Even if you're a little sloppy, just be somewhat charming and funny. If you go nuts just try not to curse every other word and people will tolerate you and may even join in.

your right, $380 is not bad since face on those tickets is somewhere around $300... but you don't get anything other than a seat at club level. There is plenty of food and drink to be had, you just have to shell out for it like the rest of the stadium. You get waiters who will come by and take orders (if I remember correctly, which I might not), but then you have to tip em. It truthfully doesn't make sense why they cost so much, but their cost and the little return you get out of the tickets is the big reason the Broncos are trying so hard to unload the club level season tickets now.

So I still need to get drunk in the parking lot...
I thought the club level got some "freebies" of some sort, maybe i'll just put my drinks on the Underhill tab. Or maybe Dr. Rosenrosen.
