Poll coming. I'm putting teams on the list with an obvious need at QB.

God, I'm so tired of this guy. I'm about ready to put him on my "death wish list" next to GW.

Two things, in my 5 wasted minutes of focusing on this guy today:
1. The Packers aren't going to release him. They're going to trade him (at least I believe).
2. Assuming numero uno is true, he won't land in the NFC. They wouldn't even send Javon Walker to the NFC.
Chiefs, Ravens, Dolphins, Jets. I'm thinking Chiefs, except I don't know if they'll have the cap room to do it.

I would love to see him go to Minny or ****cago. Just seeing all of the Green Bay fans boo Farve would be priceless.

I would be real surprised if GB fans boo Favre, even if he were to play for Chicago or Minnesota. Can you explain to me the logic behind Favre having a change of heart and wanting to unretire, asking the Packers to return, being told thanks but no thanks, Favre playing for another team because he is not wanted by his former team, and being booed by the fans that worshiped the ground he walked on for 15 plus years.
For you to believe that the fans are going to boo him, you must believe that by Favre simply changing his mind about retirement, GB fans are going to go from loving him to hating him. That's not logical.

I dont see it either. I do think the fans will be pretty upset with management if he is released or traded.

I love it.
It's just hysterical to me how livid people get about this situation. People take this guy's life so personally. So he waffles. Big deal. The media milks it. Who cares. He's still good for the game when he's playing well, which he has been.
Anyhoo.... he won't play in the division. Green Bay isn't that stupid.
I even doubt he'd play in the NFC, but chose Washington on the poll. Why, I'm not sure.
Actually, K.C. would make sense. I'd prefer not to see that.
I hope this drags out so I can watch the whine-fest around here. Cracks me up.

People are adding a lot more drama to this than needed. At some point the Packers have to move on. I think the time for GB is now, given the time Rodgers has been there. Favre has changed his mind, its his choice and NO ONE should blame him for doing it. Its his career and life. It is unfortunate that he waits until the draft, free agency and all salary cap decisions have been made. Favre is no dummy. He knew the position he was putting the Packers in. He knew that the most likely outcome of his reconsideration would result in him finding employment elsewhere. The Packers don't have to pay him another dime.
Now the real drama begins. He still has contractural ties to the Packers and don't forget that this is a business. In Brett's ideal world, the Packers release him and Brett gets to choose to complete his career where he wants to go. However, the Packers can see a dollar (or pick) to be made if they opt to trade him rather than release him. Business is Business. If Brett wants to play and someone wants him, good for him.

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The Green Bay Packers' general manager and coach don't plan to grant Brett Favre's request for his release. If he does rejoin the team, they told the Associated Press, it won't be as the starting quarterback.

What to do with Big Cheese? Trade Favre -- or hope he reconsiders

And the legendary quarterback is unlikely to accept a backup role, GM Ted Thompson and coach Mike McCarthy acknowledged Saturday in their first public comments since the 38-year-old Favre demanded his release this week.
A trade might be the best resolution, but Thompson and McCarthy declined to discuss that possibility. Thompson said he had not received any inquiries from other teams as of Saturday morning.
"We've communicated that to Brett, that we have since moved forward," Thompson said. "At the same time, we've never said that there couldn't be some role that he might play here. But I would understand his point that he would want to play."

When asked whether that role might be as a backup or coach, Thompson said: "not a coach."
Added McCarthy: "He did ask about that, though."
Favre, who led the Packers to a Super Bowl title after the 1996 season, held a tearful news conference to announce his retirement March 6. The Packers planned to begin the season with Aaron Rodgers as the starting quarterback.
McCarthy said he and Thompson were in constant communication with Favre throughout the offseason.
"Quite frankly, it's a little gut-wrenching as an organization to go through it, and certainly for Mike and myself," Thompson said. "This stuff hurts a lot of people. I mean, it hurts. I'm not talking about physically hurting, but the sensitivity. We understand where the fans are coming from. This is a hot-button issue that surpasses anything I've ever gone through."

My choices would be:
Oakland
New England
Cleveland
I realize that those are pretty unlikely (except for maybe Oakland). But I can't help but dream about playing him in a prime time game. I think there are some aspects to Deanna Favre's life that weren't fully explored to their potential in last year's Monday night game. If we could play him this year, I'd like to see them bring her in the booth from the beginning of the game.
What does she see as the latest trend in women's hairstyles?
Does she think Michelle Obama would be a good first lady? What would be her strengths? Weaknesses?
What's a good side dish to serve with lobster?
What's the zaniest thing Brett's ever said to her?
That game would definitely earn the "Save until I delete" status on my DVR.

I'd love to see Favre go to Oakland or KC... He'd be zinging INTs all around the place like there's no tomorrow. Champ alone could have 6 INTs in just two games.

Baltimore, why? Because I want to boo Brett and Javon at the same game. I love the stories about fans taking Farve jerseys to a radio station saying they don't want them.
Brett's a drama queen when will he be on a reality show?

Who knows, my point is, neither KC nor Oakland has an offensive line. Favre would be running around in panic mode, throwing the ball of his back foot like there is no tomorrow.
Favre needs to go to a team with a good offensive line, that is why I say Baltimore makes sense. He could be there a year or two and let Flacco develop.
