Not calling Jay fragile. I just think it's hilarious that people here called Croyle fragile because of his weight, now that Cutler is about the same weight, he is still god almighty. It's funny how you guys praise him as he's elite, but yet he doesn't even have a winning record.

Pssst. Croyle is fragile because he misses games and practices. Chronically.

In high school. In college. In the pros. He doesn't stay healthy.

I can't believe, they get a Bronco onto the show; which is a rarity and then they spent such a huge chunk of time talking about Farve!

Good interview, but only because its the offseason:

1) He is still fed up with Marshall
2) He expects our 1st and 2nd round draft picks to be good

Not exactly Earth shattering revalations; although 1) is more interesting than the company line that is embodied in 2).

Man, I rarely post as it is, let alone to call someone out. But you should really stop posting in this thread as you're looking more foolish with each one.

It isn't just Orange Mane posters praising Cutler as elite, many NFL insiders do as well. However, if you watch the games and have any clue about football, you can see the reasons for the praise. Cutler has accomplished more, won more games and, apparently, weighed the same as Croyle with one catch...his illness.

Again, please stop posting. We're all now dumber for having read your contributions. Thanks.

Changing the subject? This was about Jay, not Croyle. Croyle was in a position to where no QB would succeed. Non existent OL and Running Game makes any QB look horrible. Look at Tom Brady in the Superbowl as a prime example

His arm isn't that bad..(surprising with those noodles)..it is just that he can't stay on the field. Never has been. Look at the games he has missed at EVERY level. Even HS!

Brittle Frayle. I have seen china dolls more resilient than he is.

Why does this thread have to devolve into some dumbass discussion about a failure at QB for the Chiefs? KCStud is just trying to take his frustration with Croyle and the team out on us.

Instead we should be talking about how professionally Jay handled the interview. Dukes and Woodson had to have been disappointed after that segment was over, because Jay said nothing but the right things the entire time and avoided any sort of drama they could have hyped up.

The best part was when they tried to squeeze him for info about what Bus Cook said about Favre, and Jay thought for one second then replied, "Bus is from Mississippi, I can't understand half the things he says anyway so who knows what he's talking about."

I personally loved the fact that I listened to a four-minute interview with Jay Cutler, and at least half of it was talking about Brett Favre. Why would Jay Cutler have anything to do with Brett Favre? They have the same agent, of course. And everyone knows that players drill their agents for any and all information about other players in the agent's stable.

Oh, and I heard Brett Favre's wife once had cancer. I haven't confirmed it yet, but that's what I heard.

To my surprise, besides the Trent Edwards comment, you raise a valid point. Now if you could just drop everything related to Croyle and any comparisons with Cutler, we might have an intellegent discussion.

Brady and Manning are obviously the best in the league. Rivers and Big Ben are on superior teams - not sure I buy either is markedly better than Cutler. Big Ben has more experience and Rivers has sick talent at his disposal. Carson Palmer? Maybe three years ago. Obviously the knee injury changed all that. The other two you mention are grasping at straws. Again, Garrard has better talent surrounding him while it remains to be seen if Anderson was a fluke.

What isn't a fluke is the fact Cutler produced solid numbers on a rebuilding team, with less than a full season of experience under his belt, while fighting diabetes. I argue his numbers and Denver's final record would have been better had he been properly diagnosed.

I noticed that as well. Dukes especially kept coming after him and Jay, without lying, played it all down and was honest. I think Jay knows where they're at but he kept confidence and did a good job answering question. People are going to ask him about the 'beetus every time they see him and he does a good job of being gracious about it, even though he's probably already sick of hearing about it.

Denver was just as talented as Jacksonville on offense last season. And Cleveland was rebuilding. They went into last season with a brand new QB, LT and LG on offense. They just happened to have things go their way.

Good point. Garrard is a solid QB who makes great decisions and is fairly mobile. He had great numbers last season. However, by comparison to our beloved Broncos, the Jags D makes it awfully easy for him to be patient.
