Otherwise, you can kind of see some logic to it, from the perspective of motive. The suspect was losing his house, and needed money. He saw a really drunk guy with lots of jewelry.

But I don't see why Walker would be uncomfortable with telling the press that story? And since the story he told is so dramatically different than the one in the police report, I don't really see how he could have simply been mistaken.
