Ron Paul should run as Barrs VP and complete the Obamatrons domination.

Ron Paul should run as Barrs VP and complete the Obamatrons domination.

Ron Paul isn't going to get involved in another campaign aside from accepting a speaking role if invited. He can be much more powerful and much more effective as an outside force propping up liberty-minded alternative candidates. He won't endorse anybody, but he will give them a stage...

I suspect that Ron Paul will host Bob Barr and Chuck Baldwin at his R competing Liberty Convention (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dh9eOfDWTFE) in September. I further suspect that this convention will informally become the "liberty candidate primary," with the winner taking the bear's share of the libertarian voter base in November. Further, I suspect that this will be the beginning of a new and persistent strategy for the forseeable future, sucking up stray votes along the way.

McCain is doomed anyway. You can't hand a loss to a candidate who is already unelectable.

Ha ha ha!

Good grief, is that clown counting on Americans having short memories (or being too young to remember his past lives as uber-Republican, drug warrior, family values hypocrite, and Clinton zipper hunter) or what?

How many times did Barr use the word "liberty" in the video?

This from a guy who voted for the Patriot Act and later changed his mind (but waited until after he left Congress to speak out) and the war in Iraq?

A guy who, while leading the charge for Clinton's impeachment, invoked a legal privilege to avoid answering questions about his own infidelity (i.e., whether he cheated on his second wife with the woman who would become his third) during his divorce proceedings?

An outspoken abortion foe who acquiesced to his own wife having an abortion?

Bob Barr is just another hypocritical, phony, flip-flopping career politician who changes his positions on issues when it's politically (or personally) expedient.

Your probably right. Still though, the only way I can see myself not voting for him is if McCain chooses Huckabee as his vp ... then all i gotta do is hope mccain dies the day he takes office. Don't get me wrong, i hate huck ... but I think we need a different tax system.

yeah we do , right now I pay 24% right off the top , perhaps a flat rate of 10% acrossed the board for those that make under 250 K a year , then 15% for those that make more , then a flat rate of 12% of eveything we buy

Indeed.

As are Barack Obama, John McCain, Hillary Clinton, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, Ronald Reagan, John F. Kennedy...

Getting the picture?

i agree with that aside from the 12% sales tax. think it should be about 8% and go to the states. if the fed gov can't run on 10% they need to rethink how they are wasti.... erm i mean spending our money.

something worth thinking about ...... but our military is a huge burden ,so on sales tax perhaps the feds would get 6% and the state would get 4% ........so then we go from 12% and 8% to 10% so in the end we are only paying 20 % instead of 24%

i know the military is a huge burden, which means giving the gov only 10% would make them be wiser in who (countries) they give money to. it would also make them consider even harder before attacking someone. most importantly it would make them get rid alot of the useless spending.

i loved the quote "a vote for either party is a wasted vote."

i, for one, am done voting for the demonsh*ts or the republish*ts.

crips or bloods. just a bunch of smart, lazy f**ers who live off the hard work of average folk. if you can recognize their names, vote them the h*ll out of office.
