Did anyone see this ??? I don't think it did well in theaters for a few reasons ... sad , to soon , and people not think Sander could pull off real acting .. i kinda promised myself i wouldn't watch any Hollywood takes on that day ... I don't need a Nick Cage 9/11 movie ... no thx hollywood ... a documentary is one thing... But i kinda wanted to see Reign on Me cause i Love Cheadle , and wanted to see if Sander could do this part ... And Jeez it is heart breaking ... And they REALLY don't exploit 9/11 at all really ... you they barley touch on it just to let you know how he loses his family , and a touch now and again when he finally starts to get better and talks about it but they never say September 11 once and never is there graphic shots of planes hitting the towers or anything even close ... It is painful cause you know what he is hurting over but they never throw it in your face cause they know you know ... There is some silly moments that i read hurt the reviews ... Like Sander is spost to be basically suffering from shock and he does some odd things , and there is some funny moments "not stupid typical Sander stuff" , but still some funny thing that happen just as in life .... But if you like either of these actors and can take a sad story watch this .
Not to get all sappy ... And I'm not calling it the BEST movie i ever seen if i made my top 10 But it is just one of the saddest LOVE stories i have ever seen ... Sander Pulls it off and Cheadle is Cheadle "great" ...
I just started this thread here other then main forum cause i figured Gaff would come along and F my thread up and tell us all how this movie couldn't happen the way it happened cause there was no people on the planes or wasn't any planes or god knows what ... maybe i'm just being facetious ...
But if you can take a sad story sit through this if you see it on , It was sad but in many way uplifting to see how someone can almost live through anything with help ...
