Most definitely the classic hood. Looks like there's a lot more space in them things... And if I were going to drive truck, I'd be an open highway guy.

Put me in the cabover side. I have always loved that look. Ever since I was a little kid and played with Trans Formers and Optimus Prime was a cab over.

I said "hood," cause that's what my buddy Spider drives.
That, and it looks like it has more RAMMING power.

Spider, besides look what are the major differences?
1. is ride , the hood will give you a smoother ride ...
2. handling , the cab over is easier to drive , and back up ..........

That's a great movie and a classic rig. I almost end up rooting for the guy in the rig because the guy driving the car is such a moron...

If you're running in a hotter climate most of the year i would go with classic hood...less heat plus lt's saffer incase of engine fire and or exhaust leeks/poisoning, also a little more wind resistant and arrow freindly, prolly saving you hundreds if not thousands in fuel a year..nobody likes getting dry butt rapped by the gov./oil com. so every little bit of savings counts..Plus i just dig the old classic hood style..

The part that gets me is last year - when Spider's rig was down for repairs - he rented one for about $300 for a WEEK! That's what I pay to rent a stupid Chevy Impala for a week. So you're telling me .... I couldda had a PETERBILT?
Next trip I take ... to LA and Vegas next month, I'm renting a big rig instead of a stupid Impala.

What's the difference in the handling between the two styles? The cabover is obviously a more efficient use of space, plus the visibility is obviously better. What's the advantage of a hood truck over a cabover? fuel economy?
