The last mini-camp wrapped up and training camp starts in five weeks. There will be nothing but baseball for the next five weeks. This is when football sucks as there is nothing going on. However it's only five weeks (less, actually) before things kick back into gear. Let's hang tough this last stretch. We do have the fourth of July to give us some reprieve and we should be able to find enough stuff to talk about to make it tolerable.

Amen! This is THE toughest stretch of my calendar year. I enjoy the game of baseball, but the sport is nowhere near football in my list of extracurricular interests. It goes:

1. Sex
2. Football
3. Sex while watching football















4. Baseball between June 16 and the last week of July (aka Training Camp)

I have taken to watching old Broncos games to help the loss of time. I have watched the '77 Championship game. The '83 Colts game (Elway's first of many comebacks and the beginning of the Kubiak/Elway mini-controversy). The '89 AFc Championship game (By the way, Bill Walsh was an awesome color analyst) and the '91 Oilers game.
