Slackers at work

Man , guys who slack , screw off , not show up for work , just put more work load on others ....I have to give up my runs ,and pull double duty next week loading in casper unloading 40 miles outside of Gillette , then hauling ass back to casper , grabbing a second load going back to Same place ,185 miles one way ..... then getting back to Casper for first thing in the morning .......

Spider, I have a funny trucker story. About a year ago, I stopped at an AM/PM at around 2 in the morning, and there was a big semi unloading in the lot. On the door of the cab was the standard sign "DRIVER HAS NO CASH." But below that, on a piece of paper taped to the door was a handwritten sign that said, "That's not true, I have about 12 bucks." ROFL!

Isn't that more money for you? No I am losing money , my normal runs I make 300-350 per day , these here I will only make 285 per day , but they are our main customer , they keep us busy during the slow season , so we take care of them ....

Well, you truckers are a funny buch of guys... he was a blond-haired guy about 45. I heard him laughing with the clerk, I figure he was the kinda guy that got a good laugh outta his sign. I know I did.

LOL yeah I would have also ...........My favorite line is , when I am calling in to have them turn the fuel pump on , they ask for my method of Payment , I always say ..........Foodstamps , when they say I cant pay with foodstamps , I ask if they take checks , they say only local ones, I say , well do you have a check I can barrow ;D
