Chad should pay his taxes, but this article took it too far. Chad is not the responsible for getting the children of Cinncinati books. That is a Government problem, so unless Ocho Cinco is Mayor he is only responsible for the taxes.

I'm not saying that Chad is responsible for whatever failures that school district is experiencing ($8K is not that much), but where do you think the govt gets the money to pay for the school districts costs? So yes, he has partial responsibility.

What would have happened if the District had discontinued the football program in his high school if some folks had not paid their taxes? Same with colleges. I get pi$$ed off when these "a-tha-letes" believe they should get everything for free because they play a sport. He ought to spend a few days in the federal pen and learn something about responsibility. Public money supports these bozos for the most part until they turn pro, and even then we pay for the stadiums and the tickets and the parking and the stupid hotdogs and beer....

I hope he gets smashed.........

This isn't as bad as Snipes.. Property taxes usually involve local/ municipal government... Don't get me wrong they still can **** you by taking the property, but not as bad as the IRS can **** you overall

Partial, yes. The way the article reads, makes it seem that Chad is the reason why they have no books. Chad is not the problem, the Government is the problem. This article is a total snow job. The article might as well said that some of Chad's money would go to books for kids, and homelessness. Article could be title "Chad hates the Children and Homeless of Cincinnati"

This is kind of strange. In most states if you fail to pay your property taxes they auction them off to the highest bidder and he then receives a tax lien on your property which could ultimately lead to loss of said property. That way the schools, fire pds, etc. get their cash now.
