Was anyone affected by the tornado that rolled through this afternoon?

It was a mile wide but only a EF2 or EF3. The one that took out the town in Kansas was an EF5. With the population where it went down lets just be thankful the fatalities and injuries were as low as they were.

I know, thats why I said while it was a mile wide it was only a EF2 or 3. Meaning the damage was much less than could have been.

My father-in-laws car was destroyed. Apparently a daycare in windsor took all of the kids into the next door bank vault!

We had a twister here in Socal! I guess it screwed up a train and according to reports, was off the tracks. Hit somewhere near Palm Springs area (Banning/Moreno Valley to be exact). Hope everyone is a ok.

well crap saw it on cnn and saw some carnage. Hope no one was hurt by the storm.

Did anybody see the CNN footage of the southern twister from last week? Not the largest twister, actually, you can see most of the funnel on this video, it's pretty small really. But it packed a serious punch. Those cars it flipped and threw are consistant with F4 types of wind speeds. And this video shows why the experts say to never try and outrace a twister, this thing was hauling ass. Probably 35-40 mph.
