I remember last year, when Paul Smith was going to save our ST play...Those were the days.

I would assume none of them could do a standing backflip. Good move by the Broncos.
Also, I would like to mention that Thump Belton still has not been freed.

Steve Cargile is the only suprise, but at the same time, we did draft a safety so perhaps we felt Roderick Rogers was doing better than Cargile...

Mike Bell?
He's a RB/FB for the Denver Broncos. Since you are not that enlightened I am not surprised you are confused on who he is.

Belton hasn't been with the Broncos in a long time.

200k is pocket change with all the dead cap space we have this year.

In a way I was being ironic but partially I wasn't. $24.3m in dead cap space in 1 season is an utter disgrace and it's one of the many reasons Sundqvist lost his job.
When over 1/5 of a team's cap space is tied up in players no longer wearing your colours there's something seriously wrong with that franchise. Let's hope this is the end of this once and for all. It's looks that way at present but lets just see how it transpires over the course of the next 12 months.

At the same time, it nice to get the crap of the books.

Yeah in a way I agree with that but at the same time there's no disputing the fact Walker, Warren, Gold, Rice and Henry were due to bad management and terrible judgement. You can let the franchise off with the dead money from Lepsis, Rod and Al cos there's nothing we can do about medical issues catching up with players.

Not sure you can put Henry in that category yet...he's still on the team, was leading in rushing before he got hurt/had legal issues....Let's see what he can do this year.

Why not??? The Broncos gave him $6m in cash last year and have already realised their mistake and cancelled the 2nd $6m signing bonus.
