Expect to learn......nothing.

Shanny is not going to tell anything resembling the truth today......and I can't fault him for that.

I expect him to reveal the Broncos' entire draft board complete with pie charts, strategy outlines, and player ratings.

The only news he will reveal is the Bronco's are looking for a trade partner for Javon Walker and that Matt Lepsis is considering retirement.

he probably let us know some stuff about the Robertson trade process after he talked down Robertson at the owners meetings

You can learn a lot in these pressers. What Mike is wearing, if he is going to mislead the press or just plain lie about his intentions for tommorrow. I would be surprised to hear the truth, "i know who I want, but I am not going to tell you."

I love Shanny's press conferences. The man knoiws his football. Of course he isn't going to say much about the draft but he'll still say some insightful stuff.

This could be quite possibly the biggest waste of time in the history of the world.

And I will be watching it like 4th and Goal with :01 seconds to go in the Super Bowl.

Shanny's hair looks lighter. Is that gray or hair dye?

Can't watch at work. Anyone care to summarize? Lunch Menu? Vague philosophy about the draft as a whole?

He's still beaming over the 96 draft when he stole Mobley from the Cowboys. They were certain he'd drop and had no idea Denver was interested.

That was pretty good, though.

Mike referenced Sammie Parker as a guy who has some "special team" ability. Do you think he's got him in mind to return kicks and/or punts?

Did Parker do any of this for the Chiefs?

Did Parker do any of this for the Chiefs?

Nope.

And while Parker was at Oregon, Kenny Washington handled most of the kickoff returns. Parker might have fielded some punts - - not sure about that.

Well if hes talking up Sammie as our return guy I would think that means were taking Jackson @ 12

I posted some thoughts on it at the blog. Here:

http://broncotalk.net/2008/04/report-on-shanahans-pre-draft-presser/

The only things I really got out of it of any substance was his comments on the 80 man roster (and how there will be an additional 300+ players on the market that teams aren't used to seeing), and about Jim Goodman. Shanny likes the Jim Goodman.

Oh, and Shanny likes the Jay Cutler.
