I didnt think that Fox News was an approved news source in the WRP section of the Mane. Has someone verified this with a more reputable source???
:stirstir:
Anyways, I bet this pastor is operating under the notion of 'any publicity is good publicity." It seems to have worked, as people all over the US - hell the planet - are looking at his sign.
However, there are some vocations (taking up the clothe being one of them) where you should operate by a higher standard. And I think the majority of folks , including Christians, would probably concur that this is not operating by a higher standard.
Nonetheless, I bet he has a full house on Sunday.

Anyway, the way I see it, this idiotic preacher should be fired by his congregation. Well, if they allow it. I know our preachers are beholden to us anyway. Just found out my old preacher from Columbine got up on a Sunday and confessed to cheatin on his wife. That congregation kicked him out so fast it'd make your head spin. Especially since I guess a week before he gave, from what I heard, a great sermon on marriage. Hypocritical sob.
Thing that drives me nuts is my church never gets into this political crap. Sure, we'll hear snippets about the culture, but never ever anything that would endorse or bash a candidate. Just drives me nuts and is so narrow minded how a lot of you will see this and lump all of christianity into it. Personally, I couldn't give a shlt less what Pentocostals, JWs, Catholics,Trinity United, Baptists, or any other denomination (oh, by the way, get a dictionary and find out what 'denomination' means) believes because I know they are wrong anyway. In fact I'd go so far as to say that a good 85%-90% of christianity is wrong. Example, the Sunday before Easter I went out to this weird church out off of 285 and CR 7 cuz I wanted to chat with this cop, half of that service was like a friggin rock concert. People doing what they think they need to do in order to please themselves and become more 'appealing' to attract new members/sources of income. Man, I was sitting there in near disbelief at what went on there. And I think thats what this moron is doing right here. Just trying to grab attention, and get more people in there to donate.
I don't know, the church I go to doesnt even have a building, we meet at the Mountain Resource Center, and there are only 2 other members who are my age. My preacher, who is still wet behind the ears, and his wife. Our membership just rose to 27 last Sunday. So thats where I come from. Just get frustrated though, when narrow minded fools lump what I believe into what this moron does. You know, I go for enlightenment, fellowship, and to memorialize Jesus. So leave us the **** alone and let us do our thing.

Oh give me a break. Thurmond is dead, so who cares about him, and Trent Lott admitted he was wrong, and apologized at least 334 times, including on BET, for what he said, so your lying there.
Then Byrd comes out and says this, which, because he is a Democrat, he gets hardly any criticism for from your side. http://youtube.com/watch?v=0FIBJt-c2o0
Face it LABS, you know it and everyone here knows it, if that former klansmen ever decided to switch parties and become a Republican, your side would never shut up about the fact he was a klansman. And you wouldnt shut up about it. But no, he "realized the error of his ways so lets move on. Nothing to see here, don't point out that one of our leaders use to be a klansmen. But that Trent Lott boy, what an a-hole."
Oh, another thing you are conveniently forgetting to mention. When Strom was a segregationist he was also a Democrat.

Democrats are the ones that passed all the Jim Crow laws in the South.
When Republicans like Lincoln freed the slaves, the Southerners
became Democrats.
When Democratic leaders such as Kennedy and Johnson started passing
civil rights laws, most the white Democrats in the South switched sides.
So now all the former Jim Crow Democrats are now Jim Crow Republicans.

Talk about an abuse of logic. Rho claims that an entire state of people are troglodytes or people that live in a primitive or degenerate fashion of some kind, usually denoted in same way with degenerate sexual behavior, and you don't see how that is similar to the church posting Obama and Osama are the same. Both are idiotic comparisons and statements, before you post try to work out some degree of logic, you would look like less of a jackass at least 25% of the time.

Let me break it down for you, moron:
It's a question of what's called "class inclusion."
The statement "SC: land of the troglodytes" implies that the class "troglodytes" is included in the class "South Carolina."
It does not imply that every member of the class "South Carolina" is also a member of the class "troglodyte," as you are erroneously trying to suggest.
