Tate Forcier is an elite QB prospect who took the time to scan some of the offers

Interesting how some letters have a lot of legal speak, and some are pretty personal. The one scholarship offer I got, to a NAIA school was a hand written note from the basketball coach.

What's impressive is that they give these kids who are Juniors in high school 15/16/17 year olds this kind of attention. I couldn't imagine getting drooled over by schools from all over the nation at that age.

I played high school basketball with a guy named Laron Profit--he was getting offers from all over the country, mostly ACC and A-10 schools.. I am a huge UNC fan and when he showed me his UNC offer letter it was very impressive from a high school kids perspective to see the letter head of the program that you grew up idolizing--suurreal even. Great post that allowed me to bring back some memories....

Jim Harbaugh, the Stanford coach, gave the kid hid cell phone number and said to call him after reading the letter. I'm sure it's just a work cell phone given to him by the university, but still kinda weird.
