After being asked about 7, 8, and 9 wins I figured we might as well have the early pre draft what is our record going to be poll.

A poll without a poll? Don't be a pole!

Eh, the choices are too narrow for me. I say between 6-10 wins. Have to see who they draft and how they come out of preseason w/injuries and competence on the field.

The relatively easy schedule and the continued development that I expect to see out of Cutler leads me to think that a wild card slot isn't out of reach.
Improvement in the defense and special teams is a must, but it's really hard to see how they could be much worse than last year. (knock on wood.)

Exactly how I see it. The young guns get better, so the offence improves (RZ should see a nice improvement), and D can get worse, will probably reach teens if we get a DT (I like the changes at LB and I think the S position is better).
With the schedule we have, 10 wins is feasible.

I am optimistic that they will turn around their defence, it (I hope) can not get any worse. If they do that with their schedule I feel that they should win 10-12 games. The offence will improve as they should jel after being together one year. Cutler is coming up to clsoe to three years in Shanhans system. Shanahan always says that it takes three years to learn his offence. I think good things are going to happen this upcoming season barring no major injuries.

Yah, I think the D will improve in points allowed. On paper, the D is improved, depends on how well the coaching staff works in all these new players. I said between 6-10 wins, but 10 is more likely than 6. I'll still have to wait and see how the first teamers play in preseason. Some people think preseason is no big deal, but how the first-teamers play is a big deal to me. I think Cutler will get over 20 TD passes this year, 24-30 range. I think Shanny deliberately held him back a little last year, Shanny was very cautious. Remember before preseason last year Cutler was saying he wanted to go deep a lot? Shanny put the kibosh on that deliberately seemed to me. Remember how Shanny said before preseason last year that a QB has to work the middle of the field to be great? Shanny didn't work the middle of the field too much last year. Seeings how Cutler's INT's kept occurring in the middle of the field, I guess Shanny took a cautious approach. He went really cautious in the RZ last year.
So we'll see. It's possible Denver wins 10 and gets a wild card berth.
