Steve McNair retires as one of the most versatile quarterbacks in NFL history. He's just one of three quarterbacks to amass over 30,000 yards passing and more than 3,000 yards rushing.

Quarterback Passing yards Rushing yards
Fran Tarkenton 47,003 3,674
Steve Young 33,124 4,239
Steve McNair 31,304 3,590

WTF you asshats, are you that retarded/inept at doing research? Seriously, go to hell.

That's funny, I completely spaced that Elway should be on there... But wasn't it Schefter that reported? Which would be ironic to say the least.

They made the same mistake on NFL Network Total Access.

Actually it looks like Schefter got it right. He didn't include Elway in the list... he just changed the list to be "over 3500 rushing yards" and Elway had 3407. But ESPN and ESPN Radio got it wrong.

People at espn are probably like "John Who? Never heard of him. Oh he played for the Broncos, yeah we don't recognize them as a team so he doesn't count."

I understand you have ot entertain people , and have an east coast media bias , but this gaff is off the charts ....... Welcome to the ranks of great jokes like sports Ill....

It was actually 3500 rushing yards. Elway had less than 3500. He had 3404 or so.
