Put it in a wolf-pack, with about 4 others just like it. Strap an M60 to it's back, give it an assignment somewhere in Afghanistan (like, hunt down any thing with a towl on it's head) and turn it loose.

It needs some fine tuning, yes... but the overall package is nice. Make it quiet, give it a decent battery life, strap light-weight, high density weapons to it, and let it roll.

If it gets captured, have it self detonate to protect the technology.

It really freaked me out on the ice... That was nuts the way it corrected it self, and then re corrected itself until it was upright.

They may call it "Big Dog," but the articulation of the legs looks more arachnid to me. Add about four more legs to it and see if you don't agree.

The other thing I want to know is how long it will be until they make a model with a saddle.
