I've never really had luck with scalping in Denver without paying for it. I would try ebay and craigslist for those seats

I have some firends (6) that are going to the game, so lot C is where the action will be pre-game? None of them are OM members so I am kind of the middleman for their tailgate plans, is there is anything you want me to have them bring or is it just bring your own?
broncofan2438

Lot C opens at 8am and there are limited amount of spaces. I know we'll be there(about 6 of us). $30 is what they said

Well they won't get their free hat. Thats right, they're handing out free hats to the first 30,000 for this game. I'll probably miss out as I will be one of the first in the parking lots and into the stadium just 5 minutes before kick off.

SCORE! Denver Mattress Company HATS!!!
Im really stoked for this game. It will finally be a little chilly tailgating, which means we can bust out the irish coffee and eggs for breakfast! Then it will be warming up right around noon, good time to crack open a few beers.
Hopefully there will be a full house. Seems like theres been a general lack of interest in the community... or maybe its just that no one can afford tickets as of late.

Yes screw the hats... I whole heartedly agree. We typically get off to a slow start Sunday mornings and don't roll in till just about 8:30-9 every time. By then Lot C is shut off to non-permit holders (such as myself) so we end up setting up in lot M. I was pleasantly surprised at the Miami game how quickly it filled up with tailgaters several hours before kickoff.
Hey TGN, do you know the rules on open flames? Just wondering whether or not a fire pit is allowed. I have a sneaking suspicion its not...
Meck77
11-21-2008, 05:52 PM
By rule open flames are not allowed but I can't tell you how many times a yellow coat warmed their hands on my fire pit. The key is to get a big enough grill that can be used as a fire pit safely. I used one of those big oval grills until some cock sucker cut the chain and stole it.

Maybe Meck won't be there. But Raiderssuck is usually there opening up the lot. I think they were charging $20/30 ? for a parking spot and it is a fairly easy walk to the stadium.

To clarify any future questions: Anything "fun" or "funny" isn't allowed.:wiggle:

Isn't he busy flying around in his B-17 these days. I went up to Rocky mtn Airport last weekend to catch up with him, but when I arrived he had just taken off to take a group for a "ride" in that ol' rust bucket.

I've heard that it's easier to take the light rail from Downtown instead of paying the money for parking and getting stuck in all the traffic. I'm staying right on 16th Street Mall. My flight tonight is at 8:55. I'm figuring the game is over around 5:15. I rented a car. If I get back to the hotel by 6:30 I should be fine getting to the airport.

anyways......just be careful with the light rail......it can get crowded after a game and you might have to wait a while to get on................that being said you could walk from invesco to 16th by 630 lol its only a mile and a half.

I'm at the Courtyard by Marriot. You going to any of the tailgates? Hopefully I can find some folks from here.
I'm thinking that as long as I can get to the airport by 7:30 I'll be cool. I'm not checking in any luggage, and I already have my boarding pass printed. All I have to do is drop the car off and they'll take me to the terminal.

Just got back from the weekend. The game was horrible but it was still fun to be there. I met tailgatenut, great guy, cool little motorhome, and great food. I was waiting in the parkling lot for some other friends and he gave me a burrito(best breakfast burrito ever!). Also met bleedorangeandblue, he a cool guy. We stayed at the same hotel(he wishes he would have taken the shuttle from the airport with us, didn't know it was $26 a day to park his rental car), other than that we had a great time. Also ran into L.A.Broncofan and his son. Was looking for his camera so I could see some more boobie pictures but that wasn't happening hahahah. We went to the Nuggets game afterwards(at least they won), so all in all a great weekend.

It was a good weekend... until the 3rd quarter of the game. It got really cold and the Broncos just started to suck. Everything else was great. It was cool meeting you all.
One decision that turned out to be a great one was parking at Union Station and taking the light rail to the stadium. I heard parking was $30. Round trip ticket on the light rail was $3.50, and it was only about a 5-7 minute ride to the stadium. Parked near Union Station for free. I didn't have to deal with any traffic leaving the stadium.
I'm going to make at least one trip to Mile High a year.
