I think we should all agree to have just one thread dedicated to this today. Nothing is worse than seeing 10 threads created by 2:01 PM all saying the same thing.

NFL WEEK 10 Opponent: Cleveland Browns (in Cleveland)
Thursday, Nov. 6 (Night game)

Are they starting the Thursday night slats early this year? I thought they started on Thanksgiving?

Holy crap four straight on the road late in the season, spread all across the US, who did we piss off?!

I think you are referring to this:

NFL WEEK 10 Opponent: Cleveland Browns (in Cleveland)
Sunday, Nov. 6 (Night game)

NFL WEEK 11 Opponent: Atlanta Falcons (in Atlanta)
Sunday, Nov. 16

NFL WEEK 12 Opponent: Oakland Raiders (in Oakland)
Sunday, Nov. 23

NFL WEEK 13 Opponent: N.Y. Jets (in East Rutherford, N.J.)
Sunday, Nov. 30

But unless there has been a rule change, I don't believe we'll play the Raiders twice on the road in a single season. ;)

That can't be right. I've never seen an NFL team play four in a row on the road.

I got the schedule from CBS4, so they must have botched that second game vs Oak...it's supposed to be in Denver.

It's not right Dom. It has us going to the black s#*t hole twice. I'm pretty sure the second one is in Denver.

That's true, forgot we open the season in Oakland on Monday night. It must be a typo.

We're playing the Raiders in Oakland twice?

Does that count as our game outside the United States?

good that we get tampa and new orleans at home, but cleveland and NE on the road is trouble.

Weeks 10 thru 16 are all vs teams that "should" struggle to be .500. We could be heading into SD on a 6 game win streak w/a 10-5 record. In fact, if we go on a 6 game win streak I think we meet the Chargers for the title in week 17 with matching 11-4 records.

Oops, just looked at the schedule again. Week 10 is @ the Browns. Week 9 is vs the Dolphins, which is good for us. Week 9 win, week 10 loss, then a 5 game win streak to lead up to the Chargers finally.

Wow. We are going to know the caliber of this team very early in the season. With a early KC away game, plus monday nights against the pats and oakland, this momentum early is going to define the season.

San Diego away at the end of the season could be nasty. Very nasty.

The one Thursday game 11/6 @Cleveland Browns is less scary after just four days and a long plane ride because the 11/2nd game is Miami @home.

I just want to know how the patriots get the easiest schedule in the league. What was on that videotape?:wiggle:

We're going to kick the Chargers ass this year, maybe twice. I'll go on record predicting a sweep of the Chargers.

They play in the AFC Least...6 games a year on cruise control.

As for the video tape, think Roger Goodell & a goat...very troubling.

So it's all you season ticket holders that don't like the prime time games at home...what gives?

http://www.denverpost.com/broncos/ci_8938229

Look in the mirror, Broncos fans. The home portion of the 2008 schedule is all about you.
"The opinion of our season-ticket holders regarding home night games — that less is better — was loud and clear," said Joe Ellis, who heads the Broncos' business operations. "We relayed their message, and we're pleased the league heard our fans' wishes by giving us all afternoon games at home."
The Broncos play three prime-time road games — the season-opener, Monday, Sept. 8, at Oakland; Monday, Oct. 20, against the (gulp!) New England Patriots; and Thursday, Nov. 6, at Cleveland. NBC's flex TV schedule could move one of the following Sunday games in Denver to prime time: Oakland, Week 12; Kansas City, Week 14 or Buffalo, Week 16.
